CA is eroding our republic, and we are restricting their democracy. The cons in CA would quickly have a legitimate claim for asylum in the US, and CA would have open borders, so progs could still flock to the utopia they'll build. The market will correct the rest.

Its not an ideal solution, but like divorce, its way better than staying together while resentment and animosity grows.

Stipulating to this patently dubious assertion arguendo, there is at least one notable exception: the Constitution.

Both federalist and antifederalist ideas were contained within the amended articles, heretofore known as the Constitution.

Dubious because you've never read much about the founding?

Both "countries" would collapse in a matter of years. A country divided is a weaker country and we could expect either the Chinese and/or Russians to make a move against us. It would be very ugly to say the least.

Those who imagine state sovereignty was anything but nominal under the Articles of Confederation would do well to read the sixth of those Articles; and then do a keyword search in the original Constitution for "sovereign"; and then ask why the Framers might have left it out.
In case you've forgotten, your claim was not about "federalist and antifederalist ideas", but that "Each state was to be it's own country" - an idea which is clearly inimical to the Constitution.
No, because the claim was presented with nary a shred of evidence, obviously.

Are you saying there is no difference between a Confederation and the socalled democracy we have today? That was the crux of my argument. I will concede that I was incorrect in as much as a state was sovereign.

Or, are you saying states have less rights under the articles and more under the constitution?

You mean the blue cities in red states would starve, since those in the rest of the state already grow their own food. Yall keep forgetting that the south is littered in blue cities like Atl, when most of the state barely out populates those shitholes.

The farm lands actually belong to the red pockets of those states, the ones that have petitioned to break off from the rest of the commie state of CA. Yes, you have tech giants, who serve to feed the largest homeless settlements in the country. Your bases are good for protecting the country from the sea, but they are also not welcomed by those who wish to have less military. As for nuclear weapons, those are more inland.

Nah, you will just turn into Venezuela with all the taxes and socialist utopia ideals that usually crush the high economies as they've always done. But hey, we will never know until we try right, so lets start working on it and writing up the constitutions for each state. You all can go a head and turn in your guns at the behest of the rulers.

I dont want a civil war, but I see it as inevitable.

At some point, these right wing facists will become violent, and I implore my liberal friends to start stocking up on guns and ammo. You will need it in the future to defend yourself from these zealots.

Yeah, at some point the right wing will retaliate from all the violence ANTIFA and the left has called for in the past years, then the left will go crying and call for big daddy government to step in. They take the playbook strategy Palestine does with Israel and muslims did before the crusades.

Actually, blue states would starve (quite literally) without the food and electricity that is provided from the red states to power and feed their big cities...

Piss off those red states enough and they might just decide to stop providing the blue states with such things...

Kalifornia has already effectively succeeded... They do not honor the US Constitution, nor their own Constitution, and are effectively an Oligarchy. Due to this, I personally do not consider Kalifornia to be a US State.

Perhaps you should read the news these days. More people are dying from Right Wing terrorists than any other politically motivated group in America. Pay attention.

You have argued in the past that succession was treason and those that succeeded were traitor. How can you now support treason and traitors?

Dying...sure. But that's cause the leftist ANTIFA, although causing physical bodily harm, are too weak to do real damage. The left is however causing the most violence and assault. But then again, those "right wing" terrorists are very generalized in their characterization. The Christ chapel shooter was praising socialism, is that right wing? The shooters in Colorado, were they left or right wing? The labeling is suspicious when it comes to media reports. What is very abundantly clear is ANTIFA is left wing, and they most definitely start most of the riots since 2016.

Can you name the ways he abuses power please? Is it by executive orders?

That is so ridiculous! The 10 best run states according to Investor's Business Daily are:
South Dakota, Tennessee, Nebraska, Florida, Utah, Alaska, Oklahoma, Wyoming, New Hampshire, Montana. 9 of the 10 are red states.

The worst run states are: Illinois, California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Kentucky, Connecticut, Hawaii, New Mexico, New York, Rhode Island. 9 of the 10 are Blue states.

These Democrat states are in debt because they spend too much money and most is wasted.

I was not addressing that proposition.
How anyone would have divined that from what you posted is beyond me.
How you got that out of anything I said I have no idea, but obviously the opposite is true.
It only looks that way because the left wing terrorists in government are clever enough to let illegal aliens do their dirty work.

The majority of the wealth would go with the blue states as an example CA alone if it was an independent nation would have a GNP rating of number 7 in the world.

No reason to keep the racist areas of the nation dragging us down.

    If America breaks apart then.

    9/11 yeah we have forgotten.
You get all the debt too because thats where all the money hss been spent.

And there it is, lose the argument pull the BS race card. Some day leftists will come to the realization that there is only one race, the human race.

Tell the one race idea to the parents of black children being gun down in such places as public parks.

Next I forgot in my first posting to mention the war on women right to control their own bodies and the support the red states are giving to rapists rights to have the fetuses they force on women carry to full term.

Nothing like living in states that would force a young teen girl to carry a fetus to full term that had resulted by having a brother or father raping her.

Rape and incest are 1.5% of abortions.

    Red herring.

Hmm if you resist the police and get hurt that's your fault not the cops regardless of your skin color.
If a cop kills someone unjustifiably they should bectried for murder again regardless of skin color, andvyou know what? That's exactly what happens
