Lefties and loyal Blue Staters, please do not vote. Given the replies seen when members here are challenged to let people be free, when I ask about States rights and the right of a State to leave, it seems the majority here prefer the use of force and wish to force States to remain a part of the old Union of the US. Yet they often hate the left wing and blue states with a passion. Having been raised in a Blue State, I can recall what we now call red states expressing hatred towards us, and I had no idea why. I observed this for decades and never understood. I didn't hate them. But you win. We are not one nation. So what is the problem? But still I have to wonder, do you righties actually want a civil war? Do you prefer civil war to States rights?
Don't they have to be spoon-fed their opinions first? It might be too late to plug in whatever they use to transfer Trump's talking points. -) Whatever it is, you can assume there will be guns, violence and a bunch of kids nobody can afford (but they've all had weapons training).
Something like a Civil War is brewing over MONEY...... but it is not a real Civil War and by arresting the people involved in Human Trafficking....... the leadership in the dark part of this can be dealt with...... Once Bill Gates is indicted.... and I do believe that he will be..... the leadership of those who have organized a massive scheme around money.... will be humbled and effectively dealt with. Mrs. Melinda Gates tried her best to keep her hubby away from Epstein Island........ so it is only appropriate that she ends up with his fortune while he wears a nice bright orange jump suit. Should Israelis begin discussion of a Class Action Lawsuit against Bill Gates? ? Should Israelis be discussing a Class Action Lawsuit against Bill Gates? * Perhaps... depending on what information comes out over the coming weeks and months? 4 vote(s) 33.3% No... his investments almost certainly saved lives and did far, far, far more good than harm. 0 vote(s) 0.0% Yes....... Israelis in a sense have been experimented on 1 vote(s) 8.3% Yes 1 vote(s) 8.3% No 6 vote(s) 50.0% Change Your Vote
I don't get your point. Or the logic. Arr you sayingbthat if blue states left the union red states would go to war? No that doesn't make sense...I don't think we would care.
Given the number of votes and the outcome, one must reasonably conclude that the other dozen or so RW members who normally vote, do want civil war. The logical conclusion is that by a ratio of about 2:1, the righties here want a war. They just don't want to show it. In a similar manner, trump supporters are known to lie on surveys. We've even seen them here bragging about it. We know from other polls that we expect about 25 righties to vote. The idea that what was then 6 votes proves the case, is so cute. [pats on head] We would expect righties to rush to support States's Rights over civil war. But the rush was nothing but a hush.
I’m not a US citizen so can’t vote, but as an outsider you’re already having your Civil War part 2. It began in 2008 and is continuing. It’s a war of ideologies and a battle for hearts and minds. There are no obvious casualties, but there’s a massacre going on.
We have 63 votes when asked if trump should go to prison. And we know this forum has somewhere close to 2 righties per lefty. So clearly a great number of righties are afraid to admit they prefer war over State's rights. http://www.politicalforum.com/index...p-go-to-prison.600501/page-25#post-1073600900
Honestly I would say 3 to 1 at this point Down significantly from around a 50-50 split when I joined Almost like some force is pushing it in that direction
You asked leftists not to vote. Plus your op does not entirely make sense. States Rights will deter war.
It sounds like you're just mad because your thread is not going the way that you thought it is.... So now you're just going to claim whatever you want
100% of the people who bothered to answer this ridiculous poll voted no. Since that doesn't align with your pre-concieved notion you have to project 'yes' votes on the people who haven't voted. I guess it'd be OK to project R votes on those who abstain from federal elections, then, because we can assume they are probably "un-American"?? Geeez...
The question is stupid and horribly constructed. So if California wants to go off and make life there even more miserable, somehow the rest of us will want a war over their idiocy? How does that make any sense? I personally believe the Federal government has gotten wwwaaayyyyy out of hand so I prefer to have much of the government power rest with individual states, but I don't see that leading to secession. And if California really wishes to secede, I wish them all the best with no military to speak of and several more handicaps that are pretty nutty to consider. But hey, good luck and don't let the door hit you in the arse. So how would that translate into one of the binary options proposed here?
Poorly worded question. I'm a conservative Trump supporter and I am a YUGE fan of state's rights. The 10th Amendment is the most ignored part of our Constitution. The fe(de)ral government has taken over everything by sending money to the states and then demanding that they obey their directives to keep the money. They have been doing it with highway and education money for decades. We need Congressional term limits yesterday. We are making too many millionaires and billionaires in Washington DC. If it doesn't involve securing our country or interstate or international matters, it's a function of the state. "The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people."
The poll question is VERY oddly expressed, but, no, although we right-wing Conservatives can be depended on to support State's Rights (and unlike liberal Democrats, we ALWAYS have), we don't want anything like a "civil war". Who would...?
