Does a decline in religion/spiritualy, mirror a declining moral state?

Which is why God arranged His plan of salvation through Christ's atoning death on the cross long ago, too. If Christ returns in a few thousand years, this fallen age will only have been a 10,000 year blip in eternity. Have fun while you can, atheist.

So now you admit your freewill post was wrong.
You may need to have fun while you can. You don't seem to understand what you believe.

Yes, He is moral. And just, and Holy, and Righteous. It is mankind who willfully and willingly disobey God. As a result, sin, and the curse thereof, have permeated all of Creation.

As is too often the case there’s simply no point in attempting a discussion with true believers. Willingly disoby God? Unless you want to deny The Almighty’s omniscience you have to face the fact the Creator granted human kind free will knowing fully where it would lead. Moral? Pull the other leg mate !

Can we please be a little clearer as to who is addressing whom?Other wise some posts can become almost meaningless.
    Thanks.

No worries, when I first posted on forums, it was over a year until I noticed it.

There are hundreds of different kinds of software that run forums. Many of them are nightmares of bad design. This one isn’t too bad but some are so stupid I stay away.

Yep, one of the oddest I have seen, quotes all people in a conversation and they all get alerts as though they were quoted.
6 people can be in it, quote one they all receive alerts...WTF?
V bulletin seems the standard and most user friendly.

God is moral, you just don't like HIS morality because He is absolute. Second, of course God is omiscient. He knew mankind was going to disobey Him. This is why His plan of Salvation was already in place. You are incapable of understanding because the Spirit is not within you.

If ‘Spirit’ induces the kind of ‘understanding’ you demonstrate I’m happy it’s not within me.

Why? Why not experience the true absolute peace being reconciled to the Sovereign God of Creation? I'll be happy to tell you why. PRIDE! You are so filled with selfish pride that you refuse to humble yourself and submit before God.

I don't care about "religion". I equate that word with "coercion". The Bible, the Word of God, does speak about morals. It speaks of the "divine character of God" and how it relates to mankind. It is a history of examples that continuously repeats itself. The idea is to learn from those examples and "break the chain". It has to be done "introspectively" as an individual. It is not so much a "collective" effort as "religion" would entail.

And God supposedly can protect innocent people. He chooses not to.
