That's not what he said, but I agree. Marxism, however, was founded in atheism.

If you look at what he has said elsewhere, that's what he's getting at.

    Agreed.

Some people are violent and some of those violent people are atheists and some are Christians.

Since the appalling historical revisionism continues:

"We were convinced that the people need and require this faith. We have therefore undertaken the fight against the atheistic movement, and that not merely with a few theoretical declarations: we have stamped it out." - Hitler

"We demand the freedom of all religious confessions in the state, insofar as they do not jeopardize the state's existence or conflict with the manners and moral sentiments of the Germanic race. The Party as such upholds the point of view of a positive Christianity without tying itself confessionally to any one confession. It combats the Jewish-materialistic spirit at home and abroad and is convinced that a permanent recovery of our people can only be achieved from within on the basis of the common good before individual good." - The Nazi party platform

Next, you can quote KKK grand wizards and the defunct Stormfront explaining they are not racists too.

Nazism was secular. That does not mean it was founded in atheism, though much of the leadership were atheists.

If they disallowed racists from holding certain posts (like the Nazis did with atheists) fought against racism in education (as Nazis fought against secular education), condemned racism publicly (as Nazis did with atheists), disbanded racist groups (as Nazis did with atheist groups), etc. etc., you might have a point. You don't. Only conjecture without evidence.

And many were Christians. Nazis "upheld" Christianity and fought against materialism (hint: that's atheistic) and forbade secular education.

Some Jews were complicit. Therefore, Jews were responsible for the holocaust. Some atheists were complicit. Therefore, atheists were responsible for the holocaust.

The ONLY thing that saved Central and South Americans from total genocide everywhere, not just in all of the Caribbean, was the Catholic Pope who decreed NAs were humans and had souls. The secular (non-religious) practice was that NAs were animals to be treated like animals. It was secularism that declared they could be slaughtered in mass and abused in any way, and the Catholic Church that brought that to a halt. Christians and Christianity was the only thing that saved NAs from total extinction in all of the Americas. But for Christians in the past, I would not exist.

You just keep making up fake history, motivated by your apparently having some intensely deep rooted need to make up anything to attack Christianity. Do you even pretend you can show anything significant positive historically done by atheists in terms of human rights? No.

OK I see there is no sense arguing with you.It is the fault of Jews and atheists who fought for the right to be killed. I love you revisionist history. Soon you’ll be saying there’s no Holocaust

You do realize that there simply weren't many open atheists at all throughout most of history because theists had a habit of outlawing and murdering them, right? The Christians who fought for human rights were primarily fighting other Christians in order to do so.

So what? Atheists in Germany were non-oppositional to Hitler. People who claim "Hitler" proves their point are recognized as having no legitimate point to make.

That was YOUR logic, not mine. I was pointing out how absurd that logic is. Soon you will be saying there was no holocaust except against atheists.

Of course you posted that to divert from the FACT that it was a Catholic pope that declared NAs were not animals and could not be slaughtered like it, and that it was priests and ministers that were non-whites best protectors. The runaway slave underground railroads were set up by atheist churches either. It was Christianity that was the thrust of opposition to slavery in the USA.

This is not an atheist song, sung to children in virtually every Christian church in the USA:
    Jesus loves the little children

All the children of the world

    Red, brown, yellow

    Black and white

They are precious in His sight.

    Jesus loves the little children

    Of the world.

Jesus died for all the children

All the children of the world

    Red, brown, yellow

    Black and white

They are precious in His sight.

Jesus died for all the children

    Of the world.

Jesus rose for all the children

All the children of the world

    Red, brown, yellow

    Black and white

They are precious in His sight.

Jesus rose for all the children

    Of the world.

There seems an almost fanatical need of some atheists on this thread to 100% derail it from current events and the mass murders cited in the OP to absolutely worthless diversions to Hitler, Native Americans - anything but anything having to do with the topic.

Then why did he disband them? Why did he imprison freethinkers and Marxists?

    Tell that to this guy:

"Christians were the only people to oppose Hitler. Atheists loved him, just like they loved Mao and Stalin.

Hitler was the guy of atheists, not Christians. All atheist national leaders have been mass murderers and who persecuted Christians.

Thank you for giving another extreme danger atheism poises to people's freedom and lives. Hitler is one of your anti-Christian heroes, isn't he?" - JakeJ

The topic has been addressed already. If you didn't want people talking about Hitler, you shouldn't have tried to use Hitler to malign all atheists and engage in revisionist history while doing so. Again: "Christians were the only people to oppose Hitler.

Don't even care to pretend to be accurate? The self professed atheist Renee is who first brought up Hitler:

The entire claim is absurd. Hitler did not persecute and murder Jews for their religion, but their ethnicity. Christian Jews suffered the same fate. One way a person was determined to be Jewish was if a male who had been circumcised. Many non-Jewish ancestry Christians have, which could put them into holocaust camps. Nazism nor the holocaust had anything to do with religion and singularly was about race and ethnicity. Any claim otherwise is just dunderheadedness or deliberate dishonesty.

Those messages are using responsive using the logic of the prior message of absurd logic to attack Christianity and Christians.

Also, since you keep bringing up slavery, I thought you'd enjoy this quote from Benjamin Palmer, who wrote in The Presbyterian Enterprise in 1860:

"…in this great struggle, we defend the cause of God and religion. The abolition spirit is undeniably atheistic. The demon which erected its throne upon the guillotine in the days of Robespierre and Marat, which abolished the Sabbath and worshipped reason in the person of a harlot, yet survives to work other horrors, of which those of the French Revolution are but the type. Among a people so generally religious as the American, a disguise must be worn; but it is the same old threadbare disguise of the advocacy of human rights. From a thousand Jacobin clubs here, as in France, the decree has gone forth which strikes at God by striking at all subordination and law.

…This spirit of atheism, which knows no God who tolerates evil, no Bible which sanctions law, and no conscience that can be bound by oaths and covenants, has selected us for its victims, and slavery for its issue. Its banner-cry rings out already upon the air — 'liberty, equality, fraternity,' which simply interpreted mean bondage, confiscation and massacre."

So, despite defending your claim when called out on it in the past, you now argue that you didn't mean it? We can agree that it is utter nonsense?

Your message was false. Renee is who raised Hitler. Yes, I use the absurd logic or claims of others to post equally absurd claims on THEIR logic, since they decided to take the debate into the theater of absurdities and ranting. Those types of exchanges may be hard for you to follow, though.

Renee never used Hitler as an example to malign all Christians. So no, you weren't using the same logic. But I'm glad to see you disavow your post and see that it is nonsense. Since you see that, you must also see that it is nonsense to use Marxists to malign atheists.

It outrages you that a Pope banned enslaving Native Americans, the reason they were NEVER made slaves, doesn't it?
