    Point taken but most leftist don't own shotguns so they should club their pets like a baby seal I guess.

    A trip through the pet food aisle of my local supermarket reveals that many dog food and dog treat bags are made of plastic, and there are plastic toys for dogs and cats. So not owning a dog or cat would also reduce the use of plastic.
