What did he DO? He's a politician, said what he needed to get elected- I understand that. You implied he did something he did not.

Oh ya, Syria is a great place full of wonderful people. ISIS is actually made up of kittens. Did you know that?

Rush Limbaugh, who discussed the story this week, was just as ready to roll over the facts. After playing a clip of the debunked Wheeler story, in which the investigator claimed that authorities were preventing him from probing the Rich-WikiLeaks connection, Limbaugh claimed that the hacked emails had also been locked up. “Nobody has seen the 44,000 emails!

They're on this guy's laptop.” But everyone who's wanted to has seen those emails — they have been on WikiLeaks's servers since last year.

The absolute faith that there will one day be proof of this conspiracy theory — proof that Democrats carried out a political murder to punish a leak that had already happened — is impervious to reality. It's bound to attract opportunists. On Saturday, Hannity perked up when he saw the accused copyright violator Kim Dotcom, who is facing extradition, claiming — out of nowhere — that he would break the story wide open.

Syria was just one. The full list was Iraq, Syria, Iran, Sudan, Libya, Somalia and Yemen.

Iraq is an ally. Iran has never attempted any sort of attack in the United States. Sudan, Libya, Somalia and Yemen have likewise NEVER sent a terrorist to the United States.

The list is bigotry, pure and simple.

Sorry, I should have said "have killed zero people".

Point being, the list targets countries whose nationals haven't killed a single American in domestic attacks, while ignoring countries where actual killers have come from.

Yemen is problematic. Too many terrorists groups have taken sanctuary there.

You appear to be deliberately ignoring my debunking of your Bloomingdale claims, and my request for evidence to support your claim that Seth Rich had the WikiLeaks emails on his computer.

I can only conclude that you were deliberately lying on both counts.

Your half right, a Somali Islamist jihadist terrorist attacked and knifed nine Americans in Minnesota but all survived but the terrorist attack was committed by a terrorist from a country that was on the list.

It's getting like California's liberal laws. Assault and battery with a deadly weapon is no longer considered to be a violent crime and committing a drive bye shooting and not hitting anyone is no longer a serious crime.

I get that you're a Saudi supporter, but that doesn't make Yemen a serious threat to the United States. The Houthis have no interest or history of that, and AQ in Yemen is a strictly local affair.

AQ in the Arabian Peninsula has broader ambitions, but thus far all their attacks outside the region have been by self-radicalized locals. And we're not stopping flights from the Arabian Peninsula -- just Yemen.

The executive order just doesn't make much sense from a strictly security standpoint.

AQ in the Arabian peninsula is in south Yemen.. that's why Yemen's small oil industry is so crippled. .. and over 500 factories have closed. The Houthis want to control the bab al Mandab.. and Yemen is big on thrying to smuggle bombs onto aircraft and suicide bombers into KSA. Sadly, Yemen is starving. Its heartbreaking to me.. KSA was so proud of the colleges they built in Yemen back in 2000... and Yemen was uncovering wonderful antiquities that could have boosted foreign travel.

I agree Yemen is a mess. And AQAP is certainly a threat to both Yemen and KSA.

To me its all so incredibly stupid.. Yemen should be taking advantage of the schools, hospitals etc that the Saudis have built. But, instead they are tearing their country to bits and destroying their future. Countries like Yemen desperately need law and order, clean water, jobs, healthcare and education to move forward.

I can no longer care MORE about their stability than they care about it for themselves.

Back to the matter at hand:
I know this takes time, I think the Democrat political establishment didn't adequately consider how excited their base would get over the possibility of impeachment. Now they're walking back their calls for this and the investigation will continue, but their radicalized base and sycophantic media is rallying to the call. In about 2 months we will have nothing more on collusion with the Russians, but there probably will be some more evidence on the sources of Hillary's leaks.

I'm not sure how Mueller will handle developments that lead his investigation away from Russian collusion. This collusion claim relates to the dissemination of Hillary's emails and hacking her private server, if Mueller and his team find evidence that leads to other than "the Russians" will they just stop in their tracks or must they pursue their investigating no matter where it takes them? If in a couple of months Mueller is looking into Cloudstrike, the DNC refusals to allow the FBI to examine their servers and possibly criminal destruction of evidence, I expect irate lefties will be denouncing Trump's manipulation of the investigation effort and Mueller's collaboration derailing the effort to impeach.

The average people probably do care. The problem is with the islamists that want the world be to the same as it was in the 1500s.

ROFL well the Obama administration was not known for taking lots o actions, but they did list those countries as our top worries as embarking places for terrorist because there were not adequate measures to vet people coming from those countries. Trump did take the necessary actions.

The Islamists in Yemen are just part of the problem, Iran is the rest of it. There are Shiites in Yemen and Iran supports them. Shiites are religiously repugnant to Sunnis, the prevailing religion in their large and heavily armed neighbor (Saudi Arabia).

The conflict in Yemen stems from the ouster of their former president and efforts by Iran to have a Shiite friendly leadership in Saudi Arabia's neighbor. In the absence of political leadership Al Qaeda, daesh and whatever other Islamist extremists emerge to pose another problem (they are anti-Shiite).

US policy is to prevent Iran from gaining any influence in Yemen, the threat of Islamic extremism surging there is also a concern as they've demonstrated the capabilities and willingness to attack the US and it's interests as well as Saudi Arabia.

Strong support for Saudi Arabia is the best policy as the Saudis will fight both Iranian-backed Shiites and Islamists.

    "Anti-collusion" evidence:
One would expect Trump to be more helpful to his co-conspirators no?

All these investigators are stepping on each other's toes:
Different aims, different approaches. The more politically motivated investigations aim to sow suspicion and deligitimize Trump, they need public hearings their media can highlight and promote. Mueller wants to just assemble the evidence to prosecute a solid case.
Of course a Democrat wants a veritable circus, summon as many witnesses as possible, get them sworn in and run riddles around their ambiguous and legalistic statements, we've seen this before, remember Clinton telling us something "depended on the meaning of 'it'"? Does "not to my knowledge" mean more than "no"? Is "contact" the same as "collusion"? Democrats anticipate their media will clarify the ambiguities.
Moreover, under all that secrecy Trump could proceed unabated without that cloud of illegitimacy hanging over him of innocence until proven guilty.
Schiff is with the Democrat program, he wants the circus, guilt or innocence don't matter to him.
Evidently it would be much better if investigators from the 'deep state' could go much farther and characterize every aspect of whatever might go into any indictments (if there ever are any). Maybe they'll even succumb to whatever the media thinks can be reasonably interpreted from it's own characterizations.
