That's quite a long time that Saudi are harsh people. You're waking up now ? And what you want to do ? Bomb Riyad ?

 

You mean "kill them WITH our weapons" ... Drones. Why dick around with hit squads? Obama just pushed a button ... in Pakistan ... in Turkey ... whenever, wherever. Obama didn't apologize for summary executions of "states enemies" ... it's the only "American atrocity" he wouldn't apologize for no matter how many civilians were killed. "Clean hands doctrine" ... Kheshoggi's social circle and family background reeks of terrorism.

 

He would prefer that the Saudis buy Russian weapons. They will buy weapons It is only a matter of where.

 

Unfortunately, there is nothing possible to do. That's very annoying because he was an U.S citizen, and you can't let foreign countries kill your own citizen, it's a matter of credibility.

Anyway, the biggest worry of the american people is jobs and economical growth. They will end to forget this guy, probably most people never heard of them, so for a politician it's much more profitable to focus on economical growth and so keeping good commercial and diplomatic relationship with Saudi Arabia than risking a conflict.

It's quite sad, in a way this guy death will stay unpunished in the name of economy.

What would you do about the weapons? Sell them US weapons or force them into buying weapons from Russia or China? It is really a very simple question. Unless you have some other miraculous solution, it is one or the other.
