At a Wednesday morning campaign event in Bluffton, SC, Donald Trump takes his relitigation of the Bush administration's record on 9/11 and Iraq to the next level, seeming to imply that we don't currently know who "really" committed the 9/11 attacks.

Trump says if he is elected: "you will find out who really knocked down the World Trade Center."

"It wasn't the Iraqis," he explained. "You may find it's the Saudis."

"They have papers in there that are very secret," he also said, referencing the 28 still-classified pages of the 9/11 commission report. "But you will find out."

 

What an idiot. Most of the terrorists were Saudis. We've known that for about 16 years

 

And since when did anyone claim it was the Iraqis? Ever?

 

You need to go back to indoctrination school. Get with the program, everything about 9/11 belongs in the "Conspiracy Theory" section of every discussion forum, even the facts and the science. This is blasphemy.

Well, I mean to discuss this rather interesting campaign promise of Trump's. I am not concerned with some alternative fact-based truf about who was behind 9/11, as I have no reason to doubt the "official narrative," as it is called. But Trump, our sitting president, called that into question and suggested that we would find out who really did it if he became president. Well, he's president. In name, at least. Someone should ask him about this.

 

I can't disagree with you on that, I was just being facetious. I have hundreds of reasons to disbelieve the official narrative, not the least of which the 9/11 Commission members publicly claimed they were lied to. But IMO Trump is the least likely to follow up on his campaign promises. And even if he actually did, I have no confidence he would empanel a truly independent and unbiased investigation into 9/11.

 

Evidence to how americans can be conditioned by propaganda. For they got that idea of Iraq involvement from news sources. Something about the way the news was presented that caused 45 percent of americans, to believe a lie. They didn't just come up with this on their own, for many americans must be told what to think. It saves their brains for more important thinking projects. Generally in the area of partisan political discourse. Like, how can I generate a new emotion driven diatribe against trump today?

In regards to the OP, yep, Trump was right..again. It seems that the 28 redacted pages contained info which evidenced some of the saudi royal family financed those 911 attacks, info Bush did not want released. His family has been friends with that family ever since George Herbert Walker. Read up on GHW and how he became friends with the oil barons of saudi arabia. Then you will understand why Bush wanted those pages held back. Once again, trump was right. Of course we knew these attackers were saudis, we just did not know some of the rich royal family were the financiers.

Some blame Boeing who manufactured the airplanes.

Some blame the Air Line Pilots Association that is comparable to the gun owners NRA.

Actually, Republicans in Congress accused Clinton of using Bin Ladin as a smoke screen to deflect from other issues that were more important like blow jobs and how to get them. They said he was giving too much attention to him. They fought him on Bin Ladin because they had visions of human humidors to contend with.
Now the Republicans have their revisionist history of leading the charge blah blah blah.

 

The WTC was still standing when Clinton left office. While it is always fashionable and politically correct to blame Democrats, the reality is that Bush is responsible for airport security failures during his regime.

 

Bin Laden declared war on America and decided to attack America on its own soil because after watching President Clinton he came to a conclusion that Clinton was a pantywaist and America had become a paper tiger.

He believed that America's response to the 9/11 attacks would go no further than a hundred Tomahawk missiles.

Unknown to OBL, President G.W. Bush wasn't a pantywaist and invaded Afghanistan.
