As a basic example, what would you call it when civic nationalists are portrayed as selfish for caring more about their own nation than other nations, if not an attempt to shame them? Especially when the strawman of white nationalism is applied to imply that they only prefer their own nation because of racism?

Or perhaps when gun owners are portrayed as not caring about children? Would that not be an attempt at shaming?

How often is that happening? Are you simply noticing it because you are a tuned to it or is it a definitive issue?

How often are civic nationalists portrayed as white nationalists? Almost every time the word 'nationalist' is used in mainstream corporate US media. When they don't actually add 'white' to the word, they instead add an implication of a link to Nazi's or the KKK or insinuate a desire to 'Make America White Again.' Almost never (if ever) will they discuss nationalism as civic nationalism.

Is that not an attempt to shame the movement?

Don't care, my analogy has nothing to do with Trump.

God people need to learn to read copyright laws. NOTHING about the Trump/Thanos meme violates copyright laws. In fact copyright laws specifically allow for using other people content so long as either A: just a little bit is used and/or B: what was taken is changed enough to make it the same but different. (note: This is a GROSS simplification but true nonetheless). If you all think that copyright laws are so strict as to take a 1:36 clip from a 2 hour movie that has been altered is a violation of copyright laws then you are woefully ignorant. Ever heard of parody music? Where someone takes a song from an artist, changes the words yet leaves the beat and tempo relatively the same? And what do you think the MILLION's, if not billions of memes out there do every single day that they are posted and reposted? Hell, even PF has its own rule based around copyright law that allows posters to take parts of an article and repost it here.

Seriously folks...breaching copyright? No wonder Democrats are losing the popular vote for impeachment. They can't even take a meme without turning it into some sort of law that Trump is breaking. Even though the law plainly allows him to do exactly what it is that they are blaming him about. It appears that Independents and Republicans understand the law far better than Democrats. Not that this is a new revelation. But sheesh...this is basic 101 law type stuff folks!

Its a disconnect between how they know things work and how they wish they could make things work just to get Trump.

Yes. And again we clearly see that the Democrats are doing exactly what they accuse the Republicans of doing.

Nor was trump when she said Maxim Waters was unintelligent. It was the left that said you can't call a person of colour stupid or you're racist.

I can't wait for the theatrics and hysterics of his second and third terms.
