Please explain what the phlock a "Democrat Presidential hopefuls" means. How are you using the term "Democrat"? Are you using "Democrat" as an adjective? Is " Democrat " a party of some sort? I never heard of such a thing.

When I serve at the election polls as a moderator or an official checker for a Primary election we are given listings of voters who are registered in one of two parties. The listings have the official party names and the party names are:

    1- Republican Party
    2- Democratic Party

At no time have I ever seen any listing or designation of any kind that said "Democrat party".

Have you ? If so can you provide a picture from the officer Registrar of Voters that shows "Democrat Party"? I would love to see it.

Outta curiosity do you know what "intellectual honesty" means? Pretty sure that you know exactly who I'm talking about. That you don't like that I occasionally use the word "Democrat" instead of "Democratic" is not my problem. Deal with it. If you have a problem with my general premise then lets talk about it. But picking out a word that I used to serve as a distraction when you know very well what its referring to is nothing more than intellection dishonesty.

I and others here know exactly why you are using "Democrat" as an adjective. You are using "Democrat" as a pejorative. So instead of sticking to facts in a debate you ( in my opinion) are substituting a pejorative in place of honest debate. Now that is what is really intellectual dishonesty.

So, in order to be correct, if there's more than one Democratic, do we call them Democratics?

Wait..."Democrat" is a pejorative? That is news to me. Since when? Why? What's pejorative about it? To me "Democrat" is the singular form to denote someone, a singular person, from the Democratic Party. Not a pejorative. If others consider it such that is not my problem as I don't consider it as such. I'm not responsible for what other people think.

He is correct. our Democratic Republic is at stake. I believe the majority of Americans will never vote for our Country becoming Socialists.

All Democrats running for President in 2020 are Socialists or lean left. All of these Candidates and nobody really stands out. We need a moderate, centrist Candidate.

IMO it will ultimately be the downfall the U.S. Being the World Leader. Socialism has always been the downfall of great nations starting with the Greeks and Romans. Who by the way were far older than our nation. What keeps us great is our people who work and get paid for that work. A system that allows people to be educated, start their own businnesses an better themselves.
iMO, we could be doing better and spend less taxpayer dollars by doing away with the department of Eduacation, which has destroyed our Education System. Worse now than before it was created.

Do away with the Private Prison System, who's objective is to keep beds filled and not to rehabilitate. These prisons could better be used to house asylum seekers and illegals.

Reform our Judicial system. Stop putting everyone in prison where their crime did not include harming someone else.
Or where their crime was being addicted to legally prescribed drugs.

Where the only crime was marijuana possession, use. A far less dangerous drug than alcohol.

    Hasn’t hurt us

    Just the contrary

Centralised eduction like centralised health care does have benefits

One of them is assurance of universal quality of care

I find trying to rig an election then using government agencies to drum up false accusations far more troublesome.

IMO the Department of Education has done more bad than good. Each School District is different and needs different curriculums based on the demographics. If the Schools access the needs of the population of children it will be a better educational experience.
Gifted and talent children should be in the same classes for english, geography, history and science as all other students their age. This helps the average student and the , "gifted student". State and U.S. History should be mandatory. As should "civics" in Middle School.

Social studies offered in H.S. as well as Computer Technology, and service professions.

Technology, service Professions, legal, medical, accounting and specific service based degrees are the way to go. Starting your own business, working for yourself is safe. H.S. Accounting and Business classes will help students prepare for post graduation jobs.

You seem to be missing the point. Calling it 'The Democratic Party' is also a pejorative.

The word 'Democrat' wasn't a pejorative until Obama's second term.

The poster said 'trying to rig an election'. That's the future, not the past.

    Since I h
Since I have a degree in Medical Management and Information management and my Husband has been in Medical practice for nearly 40 years; I can safely say that Universal Insurance is not the same as Universal Health Care.

Under Universal Coverage, the quality of care is likely not going to improve due to regulations that basically force doctors to spend less time with their patients regardless of the number of health problems they have. Many are paid less for a difficult procedure that takes extended time; than you pay your plumber for an emergency weekend visit to your home.

Already many Hospitals and other providers do not accept Medicaid. They can't afford to. It will only get worst under a universal system where the government takes over and your doctor takes a back seat.

You asked the question, "What is wrong with a more “socialist” state?" which suggests history was not an important consideration in the Australian education system..

It's the war monger Democrats that want to keep our troops fighting someone else's battles, those American soldiers blood is on the Democrats hands.
