That's what's so appealing to people from third world countries.. It's the old saying "Misery loves company"! Nothing they would like better then the same anarchy here as they wallow in there..

 

What the progressives desire to do to this country will absolutely destroy it.

 

The second amendment has nothing to do with democracy.

 

Ending foreign interference in our elections?

Ensuring that our separation of powers is intact, including congressional oversight?

Improving our ability to get healthcare to US citizens?

Pushing back against discrimination against those who don't happen to be hetero white men?

Pushing back against those who violate the emoluments clause, thinking their public office is just an extension of their personal business interests?

Desire to end the electoral college

Inability to correlate market forces to success (including health care and education)

Desire to utilize judicial and tax policy to push social justice causes

Assign power to a centralized government not aligned with the limitations outlined in the constitution

Develop policy based on the collective in lieu of individualism

Failure to support and enforce immigration policy

Anti-business policies

Desire to level the playing field by going after wealth accumulation

 

According to Gallop America's trust in the media is down to 41%. Perhaps you need to stop trusting your sources.

Anecdotally, America's trust in the media began it's nose dive at the same time as FOX News went on air. I'm sure that's just a coincidence.

 

Thomas Jefferson complained about the media also he hated newspapers and what they said because he claimed they were lies.Yet Thomas had never read 1984 he died while waiting for publication.

 

I imagine until recently. Every president has hated the media.. Obama didn't have to because they were on his side.
