The average reader can be excused for not knowing that 52 years ago, today, Israel deliberately attacked America's one-of-a-kind USS Liberty massacring 34 American G.I.s & wounding 174 as America's blatantly pro Israel MSM blackout has been almost as thorough as the Israeli inspired cover-up. No reasonable person believes that a sophisticated military power would accidentally deploy unmarked fighter jets to accidentally attack a clearly flagged, clearly marked ship as unique as the Liberty. That same reasonable person would also note that strafing lowered life rafts & targeting rescue personnel is not only a war crime and entirely indicative of a deliberate attack. Israel's deliberate attack on America's USS Liberty is not just an isolated betrayal like the Lavon Affair before it but in many ways exemplifies the true nature of the one sided US - Israel "alliance" as severely detrimental to the U.S. to the point of being suicidal. "The Day Israel Attacked America" The "Liberty" was an American spy ship, full of classified information. Being under attack they started immediately to destroy all their gathered information, so it wouldn't fall into enemy hands. Apparently, they didn't know that it was a close ally who attacked and killed 34 sailors and wounding close to 180. One survivor says, there was blood running everywhere! A USS Liberty’s Hero’s Passing Terry Halbardier, who as a 23-year old seaman in 1967 thwarted Israeli attempts to sink the USS Liberty, died on Aug. 11 in Visalia, California. But I care! When my ancestors get accused of having gassed 6 + million Jews during WWII, I want to know for sure that it is the truth. Until the late 90s I had accepted the holocaust as presented and didn't care... I knew nothing of a mass murder of Jews, although I grew up in Germany during the war. As it happened, six decades later I found in the library a little book, called "The Hoax of the 20th Century", written by Arthur Butz. THAT was earth shattering!! I had to keep finding more evidence that we Germans had been wrongly accused. As you know, there is tons of evidence that it did not happen the way it has been lectured to us. Whom should I believe?
