I just laid off 5 from one business, and their jobs are not returning. Severe reduction in hours for about 35 in another, with 7 layoffs.

imo Fauci is the best in the business, even though the public health business has never seen anything like corona in a hundred years and they're doing a lot of guessing. Public health and communicable diseases are Fauci's nail, and he has to swing his hammer centered on that nail -- from his wheelhouse everything looks like that kind of nail. But there will soon be a new task force formed to restart the economy in another wheelhouse with another hammer, slowly at first I would guess.

You know you're right To begin with, they don't have a ****** painted clown idiot running the country, nor a cult of his followers making up excuses for him 24/7 Other countries ARE other countries and they ARE different from us; NONE of them have America's resources but quite a few of them don't have anywhere near our RATES of Corona infections or deaths. What works for them might not work for us, that's true but SOMETHING is working for them and we need to find out what it is and start doing our own version of it.

Are you over 65? Do you have Diabetes, or Heart disease or anything which might suppress your immunity? Do you want to die fighting desperately for air with lungs that can no longer process oxygen, feeling your organs shut down and your life slipping away and knowing there is nothing anyone can do to help you? Not exactly what you said. Until there are confirmed cases there is no need to panic nor wear masks etc...go about life normally. When there are confirmed cases then "we've got a problem,".
The US is among the lowest cases of the virus on a per capita basis in the world.
