I gave you the facts. These are the facts provided by doctors in the private sector. Government has been lying to you from the beginning. Without autopsies there is no way to determine cause of death accurately so COVID may or may not kill anybody. Working to keep people alive is important and noble, but the virus is in charge, not us. Sorry.

 

You have conspiracy theories? Because the evil government is lying to us? And it never dawned on you without those autopsies your numbers are just as wrong? Experts agree that we’re off the mark for Covid, because it’s more likely we are underreporting the death toll.

You said the numbers were lower yes? Because “the government lies”? But you can’t know that unless you have autopsies either. The best you can claim is nobody has enough evidence.

 

I said all those things. Now at least you are reading my post. So tell me, do you believe what government tells you? How does medical science know if COVID actually kills people or just weakens the immune system so something else kills them without an autopsy. If the government were to say X number of people died while testing positive for COVID, that would be truthful and believable. And I provided not a single number.

You may not be aware because your media intake is narrow that things have changed in the science regarding covid but the government has not changed. You may not know that doctors in the private sector - those who actually practice medicine - disagree with almost every action the government has taken except for providing vaccines. And the vaccines, unfortunately, were for the original strain of the virus and don't appear to work very well with current strains. Yet, instead of developing new vaccines, government just keeps ramming the obsolete ones down peoples' throats. Did you know that there is no science whatsoever that says children should be masked in school? There never has been. I haven't heard doctors in the private sector support the practice either. Yes, there are all kinds of lies. Take care.

The restrictions are lifted. Life has returned to normal. And liberals are just as glad to ditch the masks as trumplicans. The righties spouting crackpot conspiracy theories have all been proven wrong.

Same here, masks are optional with the exception of a visit to a Doctor or I should say clinic because individual Dr offices may differ. Other than that it's up to you and most people opt out of them. People still try to maintain spacing when waiting on line for anything.

 

If masks are the protection you think they are........then you are always free to wear one mandate or not.

 

I didn't provide numbers. I questioned whether people who died while testing positive died because of covid or because of some other condition possibly enhanced by an immune system weakened by the viral infection. Do you have an answer to that question? Medical science doesn't. Medical science determines cause of death with autopsies.

 

Allow me to explain why the pandemic is over. Firstly, the pandemic is over. The virus is not. I would say that mandates are not only unnecessary but harmful.

But this is why the pandemic is over. If you are familiar with how evolution works you understand that creatures and even some non-creatures like a virus mutate. The mutations change the DNA (or RNA.) Changes that are favorable to the creature's survival continue in succeeding generations and those that are not favorable fall by the wayside.

So what is favorable for a non-creature like a corona virus? It's survival depends on increasing its contagion and reducing the harm it does to its host. A dead host can't spread a pulmonary virus like COVID. Since corona viruses mutate constantly, things happen very quickly. That is why we now see strains of the virus that are more contagious but less harmful. It is in the best interest of the virus and the natural selection in evolution sees to it.

We are at the point that COVID is becoming endemic or built into our lives. Other corona viruses like colds and influenza have also become endemic. They don't go away, but they don't kill many people either. This means it is no longer necessary to "manage" the disease. We can simply accept it and go on with our lives as we have done with diseases like influenza.

The fact that your state has a high rate of infection if normal. It is what evolution helps the virus to do. But at the same time, deaths and hospitalizations are way way down because evolution has helped the virus protect its hosts better. Hope this helps.

Some liberals are. Other liberals still religiously wear the damn things wherever they go. But believe me, WHEN the government tells people to put the mask back on (it's only a matter of time), those very same people will immediately put it back on without question or resistance.
