Leave it at 21, I see no reason to change that. You start driving at 16, are you really willing to allow a young driver with 2 years of experience go to bars...and then make the decision himself whether he should drive home or not. My EMS senses are tingling....I see our car accident statistics steadily rising in the future.... My opinion: If it isn't broke, don't "fix" it.
Ask Ron Paul " Why should we place limits the constitution doesn't mention ? " Just dont ask for us to pay for your car insurance..your court cost..and you must work hard labor when convicted.. Drink like a fish..just dont count on gov. regulations to protect the stupid from themselves. and Kids under 21 are soo much more intelligent than older people.. Heck they voted for Obama using such wisdom of the ages. now they will vote for Ron Paul
They will vote for anyone who will publicly legitimize their hedonistic, gross and utterly barbarian lifestyle choices free of disdain from "the establishment"
I voted to lower it. The fact that it was illegal made people just want it more. It sort of made it into a "big deal." Nothing stopped kids from drinking or getting alcohol. Better to lower the age and educate kids on the adverse effects of drinking it.
That will make you more like Canada, where each province and territory sets its drinking age. Do you really want to go there?
The individual states can determine this for themselves, if they forgo federal road money. Money always has strings attached.
