Well, I looked it up and the definition of a domestic terrorist by the FBI is
So had this happened within the US, the FBI would define this screwball as a domestic terrorist. he'd meet definitions 1 and 3 easy, and with the Allah Ahkbar!" scream, he makes it onto 2 - it's definitely intimidation. So yeah, he's a terrorist.

Thing is, I didn't really care about whether he was a terrorist or just insane when I started posting in this thread; my concern was about what set of dominoes he might knock over. But when I noticed that certain people kept insisting that no, he wasn't a terrorist at all - just a poor misunderstood child, that's when I remembered an earlier thread or three where that nutjob Richard Dear or whatever his name is knocked over a Planned Parenthood building, and the leftists here decried this Ted Kazynski (sp) wannabe as a Christian/Conservative terrorist. So I figure that just like the definition of what a male, marriage, and even tattoos are, the definition of what a terrorist is has also changed.

French are not as fearful as Americans. . .probably because there is less fear mongering from politicians and the media. Yes, the Extreme Right did get a significant boost from the recent Paris terrorist attack, and it showed in the first round (December 6, 2016) of the regional elections. However, the second round, just one week later (December 13, 2016) demonstrated that French people are more worried about giving too much power to the extreme Right than they are of terrorist attacks, and the extreme Right lost all the gain they had achieve in the first round.

And, contrary to your comment, there is still a very healthy sentiment in France that Bush is responsible for lighting the fire of the Jihad when he invaded Iraq under a false pretext.

They also remember the "patriot fries!"

So do you believe people who want to kill themselves for heavenly rewards are sane?

So you really think mowing down a bunch of pedestrians could only be accomplished w/a clear mind that had taken the time to plan it out?

Nope. Acts of violence/terrorism has happened instantaneously b/c that unhinged brain kept dwelling on something it was hearing continuously.... the Paris attack. Acting on impulse is not unusual for the criminally insane, which this guy obviously was since he decided he wanted to kill people along w/his shout of "Allah Akbar!"....

People like this guy are VERY unpredictable. You never know what they're going to do next......THEY don't know what they're going to do next and that's why they need to be locked up, for the safety of the public.

Anyway, that's my opinion and yo have yours.........

True enough. We have a poster here who thinks he's more likely to die at my hand than that of a Muslim Fundamentalist.

I think the fear from the French has rather been redirected in different ways than would be in America. I need only remind you of the French Riots of a decade ago. Whereas in the US Muslims have integrated with far more success, in France - and indeed much of Europe - they haven't been integrated very much at all. So it seems that in France, and indeed enlightened Europe, their fear is as strong as you think it here, probably even stronger in fact, it's only been repurposed into hiding the foreigners away into their own little ghettoes where they can't interact with their more enlightened European betters. Meanwhile, here in the US Muslims have fared much better as a whole.

And all it will take is another attack and *poof* - back to the drawing board. One thing no one has commented about much from the OP is that this is that a day earlier, someone else yelling Allah Akbar was running amok in a French police station. The French surely can't be blind to a pattern emerging. And there is a definite pattern. I'm sure the French haven't forgotten ****do so soon.

No you didn't respond to me directly.

Let me try this slower for you this is your post: "I agree, these lone wolf based attacks will be the preferred choice, and the copycat effect also. Where Sadanie is correct,"

And you were also involving the PP shooter. The issue is not only is that not in the OP, your whole purpose for being in this thread, was for what Sadine was "correct" about, in the first post Sadine made, which HAD NOTHING to do white the thread. Nothing, OP doesn't talk about PP or that this attacker was a terrorist, or that if he was Muslim.

So how about actually sticking to the topic?

The issue is 80% of your replies had nothing to do with your thread, and the part you keep speaking about was already addressed before in this same thread. Again, you don't seem to care about actually having a discussion just spamming and trolling.

Your backpedaling so you already lost this pointless argument. Also no, that issue was already addressed, you clearly don't read threats, you post to troll.
