    Does it surprise you that the professor was canned?

    What happened to tenure and liberal free speech?

    It seems that Duke relies on the chinese students for income and does not want to offend its customers

    Just another example of how china is infiltrating and taking over the West

    Just another example of PC run amuck. Rather than reprimand the lady, she must walk the plank for her trangresgressions, her blasphemy against the religious edicts of progressivism.

    In Germany we have orders to only speak German with foreigners.

    Which means when a foreigner comes to me for help im ORDERED to only speak in german with him. I actually got a "telling-off" from my superior when i switched to english when a brazilian tourist girl went to me at an event that we guarded.

    So i dont get why this is different over there?

    Education in Germany is free. Funded by tax money.

    Foreign students must match the criteria and get a visa for this.

    China is not the country most westerners think it is

    Their public relations operation is very slick and misleading

    And much of the disinformation about china emanates from Ametican universities who depend on chinese students to help fund the university

    Sobo is a proud german and he processes very topic throgh a pro german and anti American filter

    For me he’s just another foreigner lecturing Ameicans to be avoided

    My last trip to Munich in the surrounding area. 6 days. Maybe 30 seconds of german spoken to me, that was a little shopkeeper in a town on the outskirts.

    Germany has tourists spending money on the German economy. Sobo respectively showed his appreciation by accommodating a non-German speaking tourist. Sobo says his superiors want their police officers to only speak German with foreigners but actually this would be speaking German "at" foreigners.

    She gave good advice; not surprised she was fired. But also not a sign China is taking over America, as much as an example of how identity politics, multiculturalism, and political correctness is corrupting and paralyzing the good.
