    You are correct, MissJonelyn.

I must ask, what in the world is wrong with Barack Obama?

What is it about his reasoning process and his skills as a Harvard educated "professor" that he cannot kick start our economy and get it moving once again in the right direction?

His past ideas have included (1) tax increases on the wealthy, (2) green jobs, (3) two rounds of economic stimulus (4) increased tax-payer spending on millions of new public sector jobs and (5) quantitative easings 1 and 2.

None of these new highly-touted plans have actually worked! Our economy is worse today and more people are out of work (14 million at last count) than when Barack Obama became president 32 months ago.

It seems the latest plan among the struggling Democrats is to foment “race wars” between blacks and white in the hope this will re-energize Obama's base, they will show up at the polls and vote for him by the millions and he will win re-election in 2012.

Unfortunately, they haven't given much thought about what will happen if Obama is elected to a second term under this very destructive scenario and how difficult it will be for the Democrats to govern if their latest plans for strife and conflict between the races and between the rich and poor are actually successful!

Not really, tax increase yes, but also tax reduction (in the stimilus pack) , creation of infrastructure jobs, stimilus the support he states (they gladly used) QE is the fed, not the president.

You do realise he became president in the worst recession people remember?

Its already improced since the peak of that and would no doubt have been a lot worde without those measures.

    BS, more fear mongering.

It will still be better then any of the crop of republicans running now. Tell me wich you think a better alternative?

You mean you didn't know that Barack Obama is a plant from the John Birch Society to permanently discredit the American Left?

and he is doing one helluva job too!

There is a Black man who is one of the most gifted writers and thinkers in American history. His name is Clarence Thomas.

    You are very mistaken, k995.

You would not defend Obama if you would look more objectively and more realistically at the problems our nation is now facing.

"The danger to America is not Barack Obama but a citizenry capable of entrusting an inexperienced man like him with the Presidency. It will be far easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama Presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to a depraved electorate willing to have such a man for their President.

The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails America . Blaming the "prince of the fools" should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince. The Republic can survive a Barack Obama. It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools such as those who made him their President."

So everyone that voted for Obama is a fool who lacks common sense and good judgement.

Um exactly what follies should be undone?

The republic is less likely to survive if this kind of hateful, inaccurate, distainful attitude is not replaced with grown up common sense and judgements made not in the name of regaining power but in the name of the greater good of the nation.

And if people on the right like you could actually do that American would be far better off than it is now.

But because common sense and good judgement seems to be lacking throughout the American partisan populace, nobody expects much.

Everyone who voted for Obama voted for someone neither they nor anyone else knew. What does that say about their judgment?

Actually its the inverse, I look beyond the person objectivly what he is trying to do.

If it had been up to me Clinton would have been elected president .

Its you who cant look beyond the person or party and basicly will never admit he will do anything correct.

Compared to what bush did, obama isnt such a bad choice. And bush got re-elected .

The republic cant survive another bush you mean, it was he that brought on the vast mayority of problems that face the USA now.

so? as if voters for other candidates are more informed.

I haven't read the whole thread but can anyone tell me if it's been pointed out that while criticizing Obama's ability to write the OP missed a possessive apostrophe?

You have just invited scrutiny of every word you write. Was that your intention?
