    Here's the schedule...

Eid al Adha on Wednesday, October 16th!

We have not received any reports of the crescent moon of Dhul Hijjah being sighted anywhere in the world. We will be celebrating Eid al Adha on Wednesday, October 16th, insha Allah.

We wish everyone in all places a blessed Eid Mubarak.

SBIA adheres to the traditional principle that Islamic lunar months begin and end based on the confirmed, verifiable naked-eye sighting of the new crescent moon globally.

I, and the American people, "get to" make laws, enforce those laws, and punish those (including Muslims) who violate those laws. And your CRIMINAL viewpoint,as expressed here, has NOTHING to do with it. If you are one of those deranged Muslims violating animal cruelty laws on Eid al Adha, you will be arrested and imprisoned, and then you can rant about violating the American legal system from your prison cell. Got it ? :unclesam: :police:

My children used to work a food booth for a celebration at a large Catholic church.. The festival would typically raise $250K to feed the hungry in the community. They too had all sorts of family activities including puppet shows.

Muslims aren't asking you about how they observe Eid al Adha.... or what it means. Your ranting and name calling .. calling other posters murderers and criminals... is ridiculous.

Food has nothing to do with Eid al Adha. This post is another whitewash of Eid al Adha, is OFF TOPIC and should be deleted by the mods. Reported, along with the other whitewashes.

2/3rds of the meat is given to the poor.

Its a family and friends celebration.. the way we celebrate Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter... Being thankful.. Remembering Abraham are all part of the Eid al Adha.

Killing an animal to eat it's meat does not fall within the animal cruelty laws unless it is done in such a way as to create suffering.

Of course killing an animal for food is not unlawful... and it should be done swiftly .

There's nothing wrong with being a vegan until one tries to abuse people who think differently than you. I spent some time on my grandfather's farm as a kid.. and saw chickens killed for dinner.. and hogs slaughtered in January to turn into sausage, bacon, hams and chops. One soon realizes how precious these animals are to humankind..

Eid aL Adha is Not About Food, as Islamapologists try to have us believe - with nonsense BS like this >>

    http://arabiangazette.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/08/eid-meal-adana.jpg

It is about Muslims killing animals by the millions, all over the world, for no reason except a false pretense about "sacrifice", in which they make no sacrifice whatsoever. If they gave up using their computer for 15 minutes, it would be a greater sacrifice than the animal killing they engage in on Eid al Adha, like these reality check images show >>

Another in which you express an unsupported position.

Eid al-Adha is, in sees, not strictly about food. It is about being a member of a community and about sharing one's good fortune with the community.

It is a much higher expression of religious values than something so absurd as protesting the teaching of evolution in schools.
