We will if they are willing to sell them at a lower cost if not we will produce our own.

Is there a point in here somewhere?

Hyundai has been a BIG customer of mine since they began manufacturing here in the US. I was at the plant last week for meetings and when I parked in the the visitor parking, in my Sonata 2.0T Limited Edition, there was a Hyundai Hydrogen Fuel Cell vehicle parked there. I would LOVE to see hydrogen fuel cells become the future but still some engineering and supply issues to over come. MUCH better than an EV with batteries.

China had a 30% collaps of its market, some subsidies are running out. I guess its consolidation time in China.
But it still will be the market.
New EU fleet regulation on CO is pushing sellers and manufacturer in the EU, that is a half a billion people market.
That market as Asia has completely different requirements as the US. 200 miles on a charge, is enough for half a weak or a weak.
I was just in Germany, every Ikea store has 6 charging stations and you can charge for free. Grocery chains the same, free charging stations.
Aldi, Edeka, Lidl and so on, for free.

In my neck of the woods, end of the world, Four Corners, 50 miles circle, 3 towns with chargers and the forth planning it.
A real city, over 100,000 is 300 miles away, serious boonies here.
Between here and the real cities no problem, every 100 miles or less is a charging station.

But the process to produce hydrogen is such a energy pig.
I about a commuter train in Frankfurt Germany, which runs on fuel cells. They use hydrogen which is the by product of chemical processes.
The gas station for those trains is in the chemical industrial park. Smart move, but not good enough for mass production.

As I said there are still supply issues but like everything else it gets back to nuclear. Nuclear could supply the energy needed to produce the hydrogen.

that's of no use. What works for China and Germany doesn't necessarily work for the United States.

    Find that doubtful

I'm just saying your "point" is irrelevant that the US has an oil reserve, for the use of electric cars.... and the power shutdown.

And it is funny. That people think cars are not able to charge with electricity but still are able to tank gas. You know,... gas is pumped in your tank by using electricity. And I haven't seen a cashier that is able to function without electricity in... maybe decades. lol

It's funny you don't know gas stations can pump with gas generators supplying the power needed and my filled up car has a 400 mile range and I also have 2 5 gallon cans in my storage shed.

That is,... if they have a generator. And no doubt,... odds are slim.

Not where I live. Those pumps don't take HUGE generators to operate. And ad I said I have two 5 gallon cans that are going to get me an additional 240 mile range. They cost about $15 each. How much will a battery capable of holding enough electricity to give me 240 miles in my Chevy Volt going to cost?

There is no credible source that says a battery will not lose any of its life. That's not how materials work.

If you live so incredible rural, than you or people like you have a generator as well... for your electric car and the rest of the house. While you know... by far most people live in urban area's and commute with such distances that an electric car can do. In the end there is always that gimp who lives in the artic miles away from everybody. So what. Companies are not going to design their products for those people.

I don't live rural and I wouldn't have an electric car and if I did and had to use my generator to charge it at 240V or even 110V which would take forever I'd have little left to run my house.

Yep. Won't be long and they will be driving around looking for a gas station. :)

So you do just fine with an electric car, and your gas stations probably do not have a generator that they would be not using. So you wouldn't be able to tank if there is no power.... unless you have an electric car and solar panels.

There is no prove of any Loch Ness monster. I did prove my things.
You got nothing to found your believe on that the sources are not correct.

you can't prove what is not possible so no you didn't.
Yes I do it's called education and knowledge or lack of gullibility. You'll believe anything on the internet that affirms what you already believe. This is why I'm not putting any sources up.

GEEEZ Nope, 400 mile range and an additional 250 in two gas cans and of course stations with generators can pump gas.

How Do Gas Station Pumps Work Without Electricity?
In the face of a natural disaster, some gas stations stay open. Here's how.

As it turns out, gas stations that pump while the power is out rely entirely on transfer switches and generators. In the past, gas stations weren’t required to have generators or an alternative way to power their gas pumping if the electricity went out—so during a blackout, residents would be left without power and gasoline.

After a string of hurricanes swept through the south of Florida in 2004 and 2005, lawmakers passed a bill requiring that any fill stations on evacuation routes install transfer switches, allowing them to switch over to generator power in the case of an emergency.

Oil companies with over 10 stations in one county—like Exxon Mobil and Shell—need to have portable generators available within 24 hours. Smaller gas station chains are exempt from that rule, but some still have transfer switches installed or generators on hand...

See above and in 75+ winds and debris and limbs being blown around I'd be lucky to still have any solar panels left.

    I gave 2 sources.

Yeah well. You first brought up that there is no interest in electric cars.
And so I proved you wrong that even the nr 2 of the world is going for it
And than you moved the goalpost that it's not a quality car maker.
And so I sourced that even BWM is going for it.
    And now this.

You know what this is? You disputing the cost of maintenance of an electric car is higher.
We already covered that too. I sourced you wrong.
You're just biased. You never looked anything up, and only think you know best.
    But you can't prove it.
