You might not realize it, but we are in Year 15 or so of a war brought under fraud. Though our military is rather in tatters from all those years of military aggression, the bottom lines for the companies that profit from war have never been better.

Then Trump came along, and promised to end indefinite wars, except now any attempt at disengagement from these conflicts are met with hilariously stupid calls from the “resistance” as Putin appeasement. “What, you want to get out of Obama’s illegal war in Syria!!?? You must be Putin’s bitch!!”

How is our military in tatters? I just retired from the Army 8 months ago, and it was as strong as ever when I left. Did something change in 8 months?

I heard there was a new APFT. It sounds like someone actually got serious about soldiers not being able to do the work....

 

They were talking about it for quite a while. It still wasn't implemented when I left, but I heard it was coming soon. I don't know if it is being used now or not.
