Would any Indian tribe in America accept her as a member with that lineage? If the answer is no, than Warren is a total fraud...

Actually, you can. But you need to be able to prove it if someone calls you out on it. Dna testing confirms who my mother is. Her dna confirms "Native" heritage. My dna doesn't confirm that. Does it mean I can't say I have at least some Native heritage? Again, we need to keep things in perspective. We're working with possibilities, not absolutes.

As liberals like to point out when it suits them, DNA cannot prove someone is even slightly Cherokee

So warren is making claims she cant prove

First you condemn the results as inadequate ~ percentage-wise. Then you insult the tester. Give it up already. What's a $million$ to the Grump? Pay the lady her due! LOL!

Didn't get that Christmas card. Did you? :)

Now you're getting it. Dna can't tell what tribe a person is from because that's territorial and cultural.

It can't always identify a definite genetic marker to identify Native people in general. Having only one out of eight great grandparents who is not native can show up on dna testing as having no Native heritage.

Next step: It doesn't mean she is not telling the truth.

    That's total nonsense.

It's not as if any of us have complete knowledge of what's in our own personal genome.

The truth of the matter is that she was RIGHT!!

But, it wasn't as much as she thought.

Why should that matter in ANY way? The whole idea here is that we should be treating others of our population as equal.

We need more of her attitude on equality and a WHOLE lot less of those who are "cleansing" the voter registration roles to deny our most fundamental right.

    I did not

But I will point out that he is not a national independent authority performing a blind test

He knows full well who warren is and what result she is looking for

Hardly, because she claimed she's part Indian, enough to garner special treatment. If the actual Indians in America rejected her, she's a fraud. There is a standard, you can't show up on a reservation and start getting benefits or acceptance. She has proven nothing that would warrant special treatment that honest white folks wouldn't get...

Wow - once again a Republican doesn't like the answer.

So, the obvious direction is to call everyone involved a liar and declare it "fake news"!

    How novel!

She wasn't related as close as she thought.

I agree the dna results don't support special treatment under applicable law.

Hit a nerve did I? "Rapture," is never mentioned in the bible and your interpretation of my remark which includes the term betrays you. Born again much? LOL!!! "Jay-zeus and Gold! Halley Lou Ya!" Hah!

Didn't get that Christmas card. Did you? :)

    False.

First of all, not being able to prove something doesn't make a person a liar. It makes them a person who couldn't prove something.

Second of all, evidence shows that she was right about having native American heritage, but that it was farther back than she thought. That's not a lie.

Perhaps she shouldn't have spouted off as she did then. Regular Americans are going to call her a fraud, rabid liberals are going to defend her, and most conservatives are just going to sit back and laugh...

I don't know precisely what she said or did or what the context was.

I DO like the sentiment that we are all related.

The whole xenophobia, white supremacy, jingoism direction needs to die. It's a clear danger to America.

There is NO place for that.

How can there be xenophobia in relation to indigenous peoples? You sound like you are going off the deep end. Warren perpetrated fraud on America, expecting there to be no consequences is ridiculous. It looks more like you are positioning yourself to throw the victim card for her

    You hit no nerve

Rapture was a term you introduced

Probably in a desperate attempt to chamge the subject from senator pokahantas and her lie about being a Cherokee
