By tribal standards you must be 1/8th. By Federal Gov't standards you must be 1/16th.

By Leftists reasoning, we are all Africans.

The fact is the claim she made was true to the extent that she made it.

    Rinse and repeat.

So having about the same native American DNA as the average white person makes Warren (according to you) part native American? According to your logic then we are all native Americans.

New DNA studies show most if not all people came from Africa.

Can I start a casino now?

My great-great grandmother on my Mothers side was named Lightfoot. Her and my great-great grandfather had a Son before my G-G-GF was killed in The Battle of Spotsylvania Court House. That makes me 1/16th Indian.

She is to the extent she ever claimed she was. Now she's provided evidence of that, people are moving the goal posts. There are probably a lot more people with Native American blood but they just don't know it. It seems it was important to her family and they passed that knowledge onto her.

I have relatives in my family that I've known to do the opposite; to hide their Native American roots for whatever reason.

Going forward we're all going to be a lot more mixed than we are now.

She made a claim to have Native American ancestry which it now appears is absolutely true. She was speaking for herself not anybody else. She never claimed she was a Native American so it's a lie to hold her to that standard.

I think your claim is a lie. Warren claim to be a Cherokee in the Pow Wow Chow cookbook if nowhere else.

So no real argument so you just resort to nonsense?

    Yes, it's a lie...

"I listed myself directory in the hopes that might mean that I would be invited to a luncheon a group something with people who are like I am. Nothing like that every happened. That was absolutely not the use for it and so I stopped checking it off," Warren told reporters in Braintree, Massachusetts.

Warren said she was "very proud" of her heritage and "very proud of the stories that my grandparents told me that my grandparents told my parents and my parents told my brothers and me."

"Being Native American is part of who our family is and I'm glad to tell anyone about that. I am just very proud of it," Warren said.

"Being Native American has been part of my story, I guess, since the day I was born," Warren continued.

The Warren campaign has claimed that Warren is 1/32nd Cherokee, though theHerald reported that The New England Historical Genealogical Society could not back up that claim with documentation.

Doesn't matter if she said "full blood". The Cherokees deny her being one of them.

    Oops!

Cherokee Nation responds to Senator Warren’s DNA test

TAHLEQUAH, Okla. — Cherokee Nation Secretary of State Chuck Hoskin Jr. issued the following statement Monday in response to Senator Elizabeth Warren’s DNA test claiming Native Heritage:

"A DNA test is useless to determine tribal citizenship. Current DNA tests do not even distinguish whether a person’s ancestors were indigenous to North or South America," Cherokee Nation Secretary of State Chuck Hoskin Jr. said. "Sovereign tribal nations set their own legal requirements for citizenship, and while DNA tests can be used to determine lineage, such as paternity to an individual, it is not evidence for tribal affiliation. Using a DNA test to lay claim to any connection to the Cherokee Nation or any tribal nation, even vaguely, is inappropriate and wrong. It makes a mockery out of DNA tests and its legitimate uses while also dishonoring legitimate tribal governments and their citizens, whose ancestors are well documented and whose heritage is proven. Senator Warren is undermining tribal interests with her continued claims of tribal heritage."

No matter how many times you repeat that lie, it is still a lie.
