It is pointless to try and have a discussion with you as you will merely claim you have already refuted anything posted, as you routinely demonstrate and refuse to answer direct questions to you. Your history of obfuscation well documented.

And of course your claims of white flags, no white flag offered as I expect you will fallaciously claim, go waste someone else's time and patience.

Liberal promise their base the moon, but their base does not expect them to carry out a single one of their promises. There is one main reason that the liberals will never carryout the such a drastic tax increase on the rich. That is that they are dependent on donations from that same base. Warren might not accept donations from the wealthy, but the DNC is highly dependent on them. So they will not allow Warren to tax the rich out of existance. They will allow her to implement some of her programs, and raise taxes some. But they will not allow her to completely overhaul the US economy, or tax the wealthy out of existance.

Her "wealth tax" and those of the other Dems are just appeals to the jealousy and envy of the left and plays upon that. When will the MSM, she won't let herself be interviewed by and conservative media, point out to her that her tax would be unconstitutional and ask her how she would surmount that?

yeah, but for how long? We are talking sustainable revenue increases not a one or two year bump then an even greater shortfall.

What Supreme Court ruling ruled her proposal unconstitutional?

No it didn’t. Tax revenue increases every year, unless there is a recession. Due to inflation and population growth. But basic math shows us that cutting the rate at which you collect something, will always yield less of that something.

Until the Democrats raised them. After the Gingrich/Kasich tax rate cuts we saw a 10% increase in tax revenue and surpluses. There was a recession, the Republicans cut income tax rates and we had a modern record 15% increase in tax revenues and paltry deficits falling to $161B. The Bush 15% capital gains rates produced more than double the revenue than Clinton's 29% rate.

Lol don't try to have conversations with the radicals. They claim constitutional text exists but never actually cite it. Best to just ignore them.

Side note, the left wing is going out of their way to recruit minimum wage "information providers" (which is what Russia does) to post on forums. If they are here on this forum, just click "ignore".

And claim Bush could have vetoed the Democrats 2009 budget and refuse to explain how and then speciously claim to have already refuted anything posted. Been down that road too many times.

And the fallacy, I would say dishonesty but the mods don't like that, of you claiming I offered one for you to accept, there was nothing to offer a white flag too is noted again. Don't waste my time with your posting games.

Then what happened after those tax cuts in succeeding years?

The Tax Policy Center estimated that the tax cuts raised the after-tax incomes of the top 1% of households by 6.7%. They only boosted middle class incomes by 2.8%. The bottom 20% saw their after-tax incomes rise by just 1%. Research shows no evidence that tax cuts have any impact on the spending habits of upper income taxpayers. The Treasury Department estimated that the Bush tax cuts would only increase growth enough to make up 10% of the revenue loss.

I told you what happened we had budget surpluses or at least measly deficits.

Incomes across the board increased meaning more tax revenue and the share of taxes paid shifted more to upper incomes. Tax revenues went up FIFTEEN PERCENT after the Bush tax rate cuts were fully implemented. The deficit fell to that paltry $161B.

tax cuts reduce revenue from where it would have otherwise been. basic math. We know, from 40 years of economic data, that tax cuts do not magically make the economy explode, which is needed to make tax cuts pay for themselves. If fails every single time it's tried, as the data has shown since the 80's.
