The title of the thread says nothing about America. And the internet is not America.

Yeah, but he knew it would take more than a speech to at least start those changes.
...but AA definitely shouldn't go on forever.

Most western democracies have it, via various names.

    @Sallyally too

Does Australia count as a "western democracy"?

And what has Australia done to make their aborigine types, more included?

Not that I would ever out someone as Australian or :flagcanada:.

As the Nazi's showed, repeat a lie enough times and the masses will swallow it as truth. You Renee, are "the masses".

"Consensus" is pure propaganda, and completely untrue. There are many renowned scientists throughout the world that tell the truth, i.e. that climate change is not driven by CO2.

Orthodoxy isn't science. CC is big business, big money, big politics.

Would you risk your career and pension to fight the machine?? Of course not - you are a leftist.

The global warming alarmism is a manifestation of Eisenhower’s warning about government taking over science.

It's the same with all of these big government, media driven schemes.

A large segment of society are conditioned to believe pretty much everything the media and government tell them.

They are indoctrinated and all but incapable of critical thinking. They are easy marks.

How come you did not view the denial of more than half the population as racist and lowering standards when it was white men getting the privilege.Did you see the white males that went to Harvard as having a lower standards and not being capable?

Actually it is the people who don’t see climate change as the ones lacking critical thinking. You just tell them it’s a hoax and they just repeat it. They are dumb enough to think that the top scientists from all over the world who agree that this is a crisis are all part of a conspiracy

Renee, I'm a chemist. I don't have to believe anyone on the topic. I can look at the data and understand it.

The only place "run away global warming" or "catastrophic climate change" exists is in the models. The models are "garbage in, garbage out".

All of the data and real world observations tell us that 1) yes, we have been in a general warming period from the 1880's to now as we emerge out of a Little Ice Age; and 2) that CO2 is not the cause of that warming.

    That's what the science says.

As for the scientists themselves, the breakdown is about 50/50.

Of those scientists, only the warmists have ulterior motives for pushing a false narrative. Their funding depends on generating "scary scenarios", advancement depends on producing those results, publishing depends on producing those results, etc.

They have financial and professional motives to lie.

That is not science. That is fraud and propaganda.

What the heck is "White Male Affirmative Action"? If you are to make uo your own words you should at least explain what you mean by them.

It has already been pointed out in post after post; AA does not recognise that women and minorities are capable - Quite the contrary since it is built on the assumption that women and minorities need the government's help to succeed and that is just nasty.

How viciously misogynistic of you to assume that women are succeeding at law- and medical school because the government waved their magic stick and not because they are capable individuals and how incredibly racist of you to assume that Blacks can only enter the middle class if the White Congressmen and Congresswomen help them out with their "magic ink".

    Wow. So extremist.

Are you saying that the only reason that women are in medical and law school is affirmative action ?? Thank Trump for the growing black middle class. Obama and the Democrats did nothing for them.

People should be judged individually regardless of sex or race. Republicans have always believed that. Why would you claim otherwise and why would you claim that that I support white male affirmative action (whatever that is) and why would you claim that white make affirmative action exists today. What are examples of white male affirmative action in today's society ?? Please don't embarrass yourself by stating that disparate outcomes prove anything.
