    I liked being in Cub Scouts, mostly because it gave me a chance to hang out with other boys my age - an escape from my family. Buy I never liked the Boy Scouts primarily because of the paramilitary and religious aspects. I also came to see the Boy Scouts as sissified.

    Part of this whole story is that the Boy Scouts as a group were very hurt by Obama not attending a single of the two Jamborees that occurred during his Presidency. One of those Jamborees was the 100th year celebration of BSA in 2010, and it was held at Fort A.P. Hill, Virginia. BSA isn't supported by anything but the money they raise themselves. They don't get government money nor United Way money (unless specifically designated by donor).

    Awesome. Nothing says patriotism like calling for dismantling scouting. When perverting a proud American institution just isn't enough ... destroy the iconic organization.

    Obama didn't attend either of the Jamborees that occured during his Presidency, including the 100th anniversary of Boy Scouts. I'm a soon to be former Boy Scout leader (only leaving because my boys are aging out), and many scouts from the 2010 time period (100th anniversary) were very hurt that Obama did not show up. That is why they prefer Trump (and G.W. Bush before him). They showed up.

    Demoralized perhaps but "depleted" ? Congress controls the purse strings.

    Under 8 years of Bush Total Military Spending increased from roughly 300 Billion to 900 Billion. Under Obama the total eclipsed 1 Trillion.
    Had we maintained previous spending levels (increasing with inflation) we could have diverted 500 Billion/year x 16 years = 8 Trillion dollars to infrastructure, technology, ramping up our economy to compete in the 3rd millennium.

    Instead this money was thrown down the toilet fighting was on the basis of misrepresentation and lies to fund international financiers who own the defense contractors, banks and everything else that benefits from wars.

    Interest on our 20 Trillion dollar debt is 450 Billion/year (so you can almost double the previous 16 year total to 16 Trillion).

    And you want to spend more ???

    Please explain to me who this big enemy storming our gate's is that justifies this insanity ?

    Obama was called those names, does that mean he was a traitor? NO. Same for Trump, just because the left doesn't like him does not mean he is a traitor.
