Ready for the latest end time date prediction?

As of May 2018 it will have been 70 years since Israel officially became a nation in modern times.
( "This generation will not pass away...", a generation being considered to last 70 years)

According to the NASA site, the longest total lunar eclipse of the century will be on July 27, 2018.

Well it sure does seem to be going that way. And all the ingredients are there - stupidity, sexual perversions, hedonism, irrational greed and blatant corruption, depravity, and base vulgarity to name but a few.

I am of the opinion that anyone who predicts the end of the world on a certain date has to kill themselves if that date passes and nothing happens. Only fair to the rest of us.

But you, the one who allegedly represents the holy side of politics, you call us the ones who promote evil and yet, it is the liberals who champion the right to destroy children in their mothers’ wombs. It is your side who demands we allow men to go into girls’ bathrooms and locker rooms because they believe they are women. Is there any more obvious definition of S-T-U-P-I-D than that? Your side also fines bakers $150,000 because they do not want to honor gay marriage in their business, but on the other hand, our public schools read creepy books “johnny has two dads” to second graders and add to these childrens’ fears and confusion.

It is your side that could not care less how many illegal people cross our borders and who or what they bring with them. Yeah, that’s bright. You also attack Trump for not wanting unvetted Muslims from the Middle East to be allowed into our nation. Have you not been reading the papers the last few years about Islamic terrorism?

It is your side that is an enemy of free speech not allowing conservative speakers on campus, but if they do get through like Ben Shapiro or Coulter, your PC schools set up counseling for those students hurt by someone having an idea that goes against their own.

It is your side that demands the word 'God' never be mentioned in any school book in any context, and yet, it is your asinine professors that vilify Israel and champion insand demands of Arabs and Muslims. Stupid angry “educated” scholars so out of touch with the truth.

It is your side that is soft on crime, soft on criminals, freaks out over nebulous ideas like global warming, wastes billions on that, but never mentions or cares to deal with child sex trafficking, gang violence, urban decay, etc. And if Trump does you attack him for it.

Worst of all is the hypocrisy that overflows from every pore from your political leaders, your celebrities in music or Hollywood, and your beloved media. I do not have enough ink to begin to detail all of that, but it is the HYPOCRISY that makes you and them to be the real bad presence in these current times.

It would be awesome if it were true, but I don't think it is.

Every generation thinks they are living in the end times.

Perhaps every generation should. God has certainly given every generation not only sufficient biblical and circumstantial evidence in support of that idea, He has given each succeeding generation more evidence than the ones before them.

Personally, I would be astounded. I'd probably be the most startled person ascending the rapture. I'm rather confident that I'm going to die. No worries though; the dead in Christ rise first any way.

 

I guess each generation thinks we are closer. I believe the apostles thought it was coming before they died. I also believe Christ when He said no one knows, but the Father. So, who knows how bad it will get or what the signs are. The signs were appropriate for any age.

 

Each generation is closer. I also infer from the bible that the first century church thought that Jesus would return in their lifetime. So, in a way, the authors of the new testament were the most wrong about the time of Jesus' second coming.

 

Most of the people who ever live will look back on Jesus' second coming the way we look back on His first knowing how wrong we were about how it would go down.
