I would. Only the immature and the sociopaths think otherwise. There are about 700,000 police officers in the USA. Every one of them is sworn to protect you, and I don't know of one who would refuse.

Are there a few out of the 700, 000 who are bad or derelict? Sure. Same with plumbers, programmers and lawyers, none of whom have take an oath to protect and defend.

true, but those bad ones should always be stopped or cop should be arrested for accessory to harassment or assault if they do nothing

but regardless, never talk to the police, they are not your friends, they have a job to do

a good cop, that is what I and everyone else want when we interact with a cop

if one is speeding, just give them a ticket and be on your way, simple, no power trips, no trying to escalate the situation

OK, I can understand why T**** himself would fight a deposition, because he's a human perjury machine. His ass wouldn't hit the seat before he lied about something.

I can even understand why they would fight Ivanka, as she "did some stuff" in the previous administration.

How in the world can any lawsuit justify not allowing a deposition of Private Citizen for Life Don Junior, after Eric already showed up to claim he's a criminal??

Note that Daddy and Darling are both not remotely immune from being deposed in this matter... But at least you can make some non-laughable case for those 2...

I would prefer you use a better metric of 'crookdom' than doing exactly what your attorney told you to do in a specific hearing in contemplation of some hypothetical potential charges that have yet to even be filed. The number of times he responded that way had more to do with attorneys asking and rephrasing and then doing it again and again as many times as would fill up their allotted time as it did anything else. They are not asking these questions in order to get information. They are asking them because they have a lot of material to cover and so that they can make his time under oath exhausting, unpleasant etc. Its more like legalized bullying/ intimidation than it is a search for the truth. The fact that he's probably a scumbag who deserves this, does not mean he's more criminal than any other witness called to testify in a deposition. they do this to innocent nice guys too.

 

all one has to do is look how fast video is released if a suspect behaves badly vs if a cop behaves badly
