Question: Why was Europe great during the 16-th, 17-th, 18-th, 19-th centuries?
Answer: Because there were no Muslims.
The same goes for America during the 19c and 20c.

As comrade Stalin would have said, "there are Muslims - there are problems, no Muslims - no problems".

And it couldn't be otherwise since Islam is a totalitarian, political, anti-Christian in essence, ideology. It has given practically nothing to the word in arts, architecture, philosophy and science. No wonder, since rational thought and religious bigotry are opposites.

    Anyway, you get my point.

Muslims invented algebra, the basis for all the higher math concepts.

If not for Muslims we never would have been able to go into space.

Muslims took algebra from India, including the 0.

They also invented the concept of the decimal which is necessary for even basic mathematical problems.

Are you implying that the builders of the Parthenon in Athens (that has the Golden ratio encoded in it) didn't know how to do maths? The Parthenon is almost 1000 years older than Islam.

It's been a long time since they've accomplished anything since then...

They're like the Romans. Great back in the day, but what have they done for us lately? Not too many burkas in space.

No, it was the Muslims who learned their math from the Greeks. A Greek computed the diameter of the earth hundreds of years before Mohamed was born.

I am saying they didn't make their knowledge available to the world, Muslims did.

Muhammad ibn Musa al-Khwarizmi, a scholar in the House of Wisdom in Baghdad, is along with the Greek mathematician Diophantus, known as the father of algebra

    The Golden Ratio is geometry.

And geometry is vital to mathematics and even more basic. The Greeks knew algebra but considered it less interesting than geometry.

They were conquered by the Muslims. They were in no position to decline, but probably would have taught them anyway. They taught the Persians and Egyptians back in the day of Alexander the Great and his successors. The spread of Greek culture was called "Hellenization."

Makes you wonder why Muslims get the credit for it then I mean, since this is such a well known fact.

Do you mean "squaring the circle?" That was the problem of constructing a square with the same area as a given circle. Turns out it is impossible, a result discovered by the great French mathematician Galois (like the cigarettes). Galois theory also proves you can't trisect an angle, another problem worked on by the Greeks.
