    I absolutely support her right to free-speech, but more often then not, celebrities have a habit of making these issues about themselves. When all is said and done you are a soccer player.

    That doesn't change the fact that she is dumb, petulant, extremely stupid, ignorant, brainwashed and close-minded any less obvious.

    I don't understand the idea of athletes, actors, singers, celebrities etc as "role models" in the first place.

    Rapinoe got where she is because of her ability to play soccer. Period. In no way does soccer ability automatically qualify her for anything else.

    If I wanted advice related to soccer, I might look to her. But I'm not going to look to her as a role model, a social justice inspiration, or a political expert.

    She's an angry lesbian attention-whore who's good at playing soccer, and that's it.

    I don't know much about her. If I had a child who started treating Trump as a role model, I'd try to get them treated for possible psychopathy.

    The Right seems to be awfully triggered by Rapinoe given the amount of threads dedicated to her. Almost as funny as those who are triggered by Trump. Who knew there were so many uptight people.

    I would argue that the parent who would want their child to look up to her as a role model would also want their child to look up to Trump,

    Story about a soccer player gets deflected to Trump in the first response and I'm the one who gets bashed for whataboutisms.

    In the real world this soccer player could never compete with men but she wants to be paid like a man. She doesn't know how foolish and unpatriotic she looks.

    To butt-blasted TDS Sufferers, perhaps, but I've never considered Rapinoe the best player on her own teams. Before she retired, Abbie Wombach was the best player on the USWNT and today this woman is:
