You don’t know the common surface diesel electric train is a hybrid. They cannot run as an electric train. A common subway is electric and not a hybrid. A plug in hybrid auto, is both.
Which means, it’s an electric car. Go ahead. Look it up, for the third time.
The original supposition is simply, that electric cars will be fewer then 25% of the cars. My retort is, more then 25 and as high as 50% of the travel that people do will be in an electric car. That’s easy.....hybrids in electric mode are electric cars. In ten years, that’s all you’ll be able to buy in MOST CAR MODELS. And, most people will be running them in all EV mode most of the time.

Perhaps you can correct me and provide the correct definition. Criticizing my definition doesn't help at al without a correctionl.

Why don’t you correct yourself. You have access to any number of dictionaries. Do you need help ?

Oh No .. You did this to yourself ..

You spent many posts saying "you don't like hybrids" " Subways" and so on. I responded ..no I don't - to the contrary .. we should have more of them.

This was then followed by 6-7 posts of you saying "You disagree with me" - me going .. no .. I don't -- to the point of the Monte Python Skit where the fellow wants to have an argument.

round and round in a circle - you begging me to disagree with your position .. while completely ignoring the central points being made ...

Until - I thought best to bow out - having spun you round and round enough .. or perhaps its vice versa .. but either way - Thanks for coming out. :cheerleader::cheerleader::cheerleader:

Sometimes to withdraw is the best move .. such as in the case where the poster can do nothing but build straw-men and make false accusations.

What would you say is the best move in such a situation ?

And the lesson here is just winterize (which they never thought they'd have to do). What do you do if there's a lack of wind?

Calling out trolling is just calling it out when it is obvious.

Has there ever been any period of time when the wind has NOT being blowing somewhere in the nation?

The GRID covers the NATION and with wind turbines in multiple locations nationwide there will ALWAYS be power supplied to the grid from whichever locations are experiencing wind. For those that aren't it is the ideal opportunity to carry out routine maintenance.

TX needs to LEARN how to play nicely with others and REJOIN the national grid.

The national grid needs to be UPDATED since about 60% of power generated is LOST.

If everyone painted their their roofs WHITE that would SIGNIFICANTLY reduce the DEMAND on the grid during the Summer. It makes ECONOMIC sense for homeowners and corporations to take this action because it LOWERS their utility bills for what is a pittance in labor and materials.

There are a great many VIABLE ways to ensure that we do NOT have a repeat of the GREED driven power failure in TX again.

Which is what the right does all the time. As soon as they have no answers because they are so uninformed, the old straw man accusation comes out. Being less informed and unwilling to even research anywhere makes falling back on the strawmwn narrative a necessity.

OK .. but the question was .. when confronted with such situation - what is the best move ?

and 2) so because the right does it (strawman fallacy - and nothing else) you feel that you should jump off the same bridge ?!

Agreed - but, if you don't like this behavior - then why do you engage in it ?

PLUG IN HYBRIDS ARE ELECTRIC CARS. SO...if you agree with everything I said about hybrids, SAY THAT.

    I’ve never been off topic.

    Yup..
They never thought they had to, because they don’t care. They didn’t listen to the science that Feds ALWAYS provide, along with every major Texas corporation and educational institute in Texas.
