Jeanine Pirro shows exactly how a prosecutor could lay out the case for 1st Degree murder against Chauvin and other officers charged with lesser crimes in the Floyd murder.

Her argument begins at the 15 min mark on this Youtube video.

Isn't Chauvin being charged with second degree?

Yes. He should be charged with 1st degree murder. The video proves every element of 1st degree murder. Pirro details the case against Chauvin in damning detail. It's not a close case.

Agreed, Judge Pirro laid it out in even more devastating detail then I would've thought. I at first thought that murder one might be too high, but she sold the premeditation aspect well, that just because you didn't wake up and select this man to die, doesn't mean you didn't act in premeditation.

Chauvin had better hope the local prosecutor does not use Pirro's assessment as a closing argument. If MN had the death penalty Pirro could kill him with it.

Life in prison without the possibility of parole would be the same as a death sentence, and justifiably delicious, because his actions didn't end up murdering George Floyd, they also murdered 11 other Americans(the protests). I'm not sure if that argument can be legally held, but it's morally true.

I suppose in this case life might be worse than death.
