Exactly..... and the big lie ( ELECTION DELUSION that Trump Won) is still being perpetuated by Trump. who's provocative language has stirred up a lot of this.

This is INSANITY....... by any psychologists standards. Being out of touch with reality can be one step towards fanatical behavior.

Cults are a form of fanaticism.........and there has never been such a fanatical following of a provocative leader in US history. These folks would do anything for him. And that means he controls their minds and behavior. That is very concerning. as reason seems to be lost ...

your posts are kind of funny. So what? They love him. That’s their business. It’s not up to you or anyone to change that. Quit worrying about their beliefs. Then having weird beliefs doesn’t make them dangerous or terrorists or any of that nonsense. When they start walking into shopping malls with suicide vests on a regular basis you might have a point. Nobody is doing that.

And at least two posters here flat out deny that leftist anarchist had a thing to do with any of it. It was all the right, you see?

I think it's all a big distraction from the real security threat: the CCP, who, in all likelihood, just negligently released a virus that has killed 2M+ of us to date.

I understand what you are saying ...... BUT. Your first sentence .....
... is kind of a contradiction. Are those your own words or a quote from someone else? The reason I ask is that the notion takes for granted that either all lawmakers are democratic or "the plan" is to remove only those who are democratic.

I am just guessing here but I'll wager that those people who you call "extremists" believe they are striving to introduce Democracy where it is lacking and that they see certain (or all) lawmakers as being "extremists". Seriously, what do Americans think about the American Revolution? Who were the good guys and who were the bad guys - and why?

LOL. Its hilarious Trump doubled the room prices at his DC hotel for today in anticipation of his loyalists wanting to be there today. In Jan 6, the day of the rally and assault, some of his rooms were going for $8000 per night.

Trump hotel in DC appears to raise room rates around date QAnon believes he’ll return to presidency
Extremist theories about presidential succession suggest 4 March will see Biden replaced by predecessor
    https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/us-politics/trump-hotel-dc-qanon-b1798838.html

Washington DC hotel typically cost around $476 (£347) to $596 (£439) per night at this time of year.

But on 3 and 4 March, the date at the centre of the latest QAnon conspiracy theory, rooms at the Trump hotel are as high as $1,331 (£969) to $2,266 (£1,650) per night – almost double the usual rate.

And when you book a room on the same day a week later, the rooms return to $476 per night, as does the same Wednesday the week before 4 March, which has rooms available at $476.

America has very few extremists. Just people who strongly disagree.

Extremism in defense of liberty is no vice.

Moderation in pursuit of justice is no virtue.

If that were true we would have ended these riots a long time ago.

This time would be different since the cops were heavily criticized for allowing the insurrection.

Since we're talking about extremists, I think this would be appropriate:

ANTIFA is planning another day of chaos and destruction. They’re calling it the “Autonomous Day of Action” and it’s scheduled for March 6th. Is this what our government is really afraid of, but won't admit it? You can see the video on:

The original video was posted to a twitter account by the name of @FrontGreen and was created by @FullAffinity, an ANTIFA Activist who has publicly voiced support for radical acts of violence in order to change the system.

The official advertisement banners for the “Autonomous Day of Action”.
The motto of the event is “The Kids Won’t Be quiet, They’re Going To Start A Riot“.

We’re calling for an autonomous day of action. A day of creation and destruction. Get organising. Keep it quiet. Keep it serious. Stay safe comrades

6th March. Get in action. **** **** up. Target capitalism. Target the state. Paint your streets. Fight injustice. Squat your local empty. Help the homeless community. Drop some banners. BE GAY DO CRIME!

The governors and mayors were criticized for tolerating the riots all of last year. I have never seen a truly forcible response to a riot in a long long time.

I'm guessing that nothing will happen today. The folks from Jan 6 have been hunted by the FBI and hundreds of arrests have been made. That will serve as a great deterrent. I am curious, though, about the dramatic rise in room rates at Trump's DC hotel. Were they raised because they didn't want 'that kind' staying at their hotel? If not, why would he take such advantage of 'his people'?

From what I can see of them I don't support ANTIFA but on the other hand if "radical acts of violence" is the only way to accomplish a needed "change of the system" ...... But the question remains ... what is needed and what isn't? Personally, I consider Democracy the most important issue that mankind has ever had to face but if it can only be achieved by toppling Fascism by "radical acts of violence" then I cannot fault it. The point is, neither ANTIFA nor the government is particularly Democratic. Maybe (just maybe) ANTIFA and its opponents want the same thing but they don't agree on who should lead the way.

It was a wild summer with lots of riots, but the cops did crack some skulls, and thousands were arrested. Over 10 000 had been arrested by June 4, and that was only a week into it. So, the "they did nothing" mantra is a myth, or propaganda in order to shift blame.

Or more importantly how they should go about seeking change. Their course of action only hurts everything including their reputations and their goals. Destructive riots are NEVER EVER the right way to seek change.

I wonder how many went to trial. I wonder why police didn't apply enough force to stop them. I wonder why the riots were tolerated night after night in Portland for more than a month. I wonder why you think any meaningful amount of force was applied.

It has been a while since the government has run people over with tanks, that is true.

But you have seen "a truly forcible response" to peaceful protesting. It's an interesting subject. The tanks were brought in to squash Prague Spring of 1968 but were too paralyzed to do anything to stop East Germany from busting the gates in 1991.

I have to explain every detail on the internet I guess. I have been referring to the U.S. Sorry you didn't understand that.
