Cakes are not centerpieces of weddings and even if they were, it matters not. What he was making the cake for and the style he was making it weren't any different than other wedding cakes he'd already made without complaint. That's why there was an issue.

There was nothing about this situation that infringed on his right to practice his religion, because the bible doesn't contain a rule that forbids Christians from making cakes or other items for gay people or any people. It doesn't impose rules about when it's okay to approve a marriage and when it's not. It would have been no different then if this hadn't been a gay couple, but rather a couple from a different religion. The bible only tells you how to live your life, not to impose those same laws on other people. The bakers were in the wrong, ethically even if the courts found that it was not legally.

You'd have to ask Facebook. What Antifa groups are still active that are doing this?

 

I know of at least two teachers that were terminated or moved to different districts and one food worker. Most employment legal firms (probably biased I know) say that for every known case of employment discrimination there are between 20 - 30 that go unreported.

Is your next argument going to be “well it doesn’t effect that many people so it’s fine”, that seems to be the typical response when people with motive against gay individuals find out it is perfectly legal to fire, refuse to promote, evict, or refuse goods to homosexuals for no reason other than their orientation.
