    It was framed in Massachusetts.
Over and over, Obama said he preferred Medicare for all which should be the next step.

    You didn't answer.
Is everyone going to buy their premiums directly?

Should have just gone with Medicare for all. Tiny penalties forming an individual mandate were not going to motivate healthy people to sign up. Obamacare was a big nothing, and Trump's only thought is about undoing anything Obama did, probably because he's a racist and can't stand the fact that we had a black president who humiliated him at the Correspondent's Dinner.

480,000 people in the U.S. die each year because they insist on sucking on cigarettes, or chewing Tobacco, or have the bad fortune to either live with a smoker and are exposed to second hand Tobacco smoke in some way.

So, everyone who gets who gets cancer is a smoker or lived with one ? Wrong. No one has accidents that was not their fault ? Wrong. Prostate cancer, no absolute cause yet 164k men come down with it yearly.
Medicaid comes out of the general fund, Medicare is paid out of payroll taxes. Reasearch the difference. All healthcare costs should come out of payroll taxes if you choose it. Everyone needs medical care at some point, everyone should pay. If you want to opt out, go ahead and pay for your own private insurance and not the tax...it’s called the public option. You’d be pretty dumb if you did...but go for it.

So you want to be subsidized by your neighbors, or are you volunteering to pay the same tax rates as them, to cover your policy?

Your planning on paying the same amount of payroll taxes as those that earn more than you, to cover yourself, or are just planning on being a leach?

You seem to know so little about Medicare; does being poorly informed come natural ?

So, you hate govt. insurance so much, you plan on keeping your private insurance and not Medicare at 65 ?
You figure private insurance should be cheaper ?
Even in private insurance, the healthy pay for the sick. You’re still a leach, but one who overpays for insurance company profits.

Obamacare provides the SAME benefits that those in congress get. It was designed to eliminate preexisting conditions and caps and be more affordable. The only way you can pay for these, is with the mandate. Do away with the mandate, and it gets more expensive for everyone left. It’s not rocket science.

If he had the votes, he would have Signed Medicare for all. HE DIDNT; he was one vote short ( Lieberman ) of the public option. If he had gone for Medicare for all, it would have been defeated.....the lack of the public option demonstrated that. Insurance companies still have enough of Congress in their pocket.

what's that got to do with you paying the same premium for government insurance as the guy with more money than you?
It's OK to admit. You want to pay less. Man up about it

You want to pay more and die earlier ? Overhead for private insurance is 17%, Medicare is 2.5%.
You must love pissing away money. Your biggest fear is that some minority might get medical care.

I know this is a startling revelation for you, but the lower the healthcare costs per capita, the more people who can be insured ; even at a total cost that’s lower. Plus, increasing the number insured, drove the job market like no other single factor in the last 8 years.

That's not the question. The question is why you want single payer but don't want to pay as much for your policy as the guy who earns more than you? You want him to subsidize you because he makes more than you.
Why don't we all just buy these wonderful policies from the government at the same price for all? Because you want freebies, that's why

Ok. So we go to this wonderful single payer system. Why don't you want to just pay for a policy at the same price as everyone else?
Why tax based payments? What is it about paying the same price as those who make more than you that you hate so much?

Take it up with the IRS. We’ve been paying payroll taxes on a percent basis for decades that is capped. So the RICH don’t pay a payroll tax higher then a given amount and once they reach that threshold, they pay the same as EVERYONE ELSE. Are you pretending to be this uninformed ?
It’s one of the few taxes that does go to a set amount. Dah.
Of course, you’d like a set amount so your fellow lower wage earning Trump Humpers can’t afford insurance. That’s laughable.

Sure. Republicans have completely controlled Congress for more than 3 years and the WH since donald was elected.

But its the Dems fault. Just like the housing bubble.

It's a lot easier to be a conservative when you can baseless blame Dems for everything negative that happens while Republicans completely control the government.
