You’ve never come close to answering one simple question. Do you want the govt. with our taxes to pay for your ass wiping when you reach 65. Sooner, if you’re “ lucky enough” to get cancer or require long term med treatment before. Be a man. Tell us if you’re a hypocrite.

You are very naive - or just a party partisan. Of course that means you are clearly not a professional politician.

“[T]he running existential contradictions of D.C., a place where “authenticity and fantasy are close companions”, as the Washington Post’s Henry Allen once wrote. It misses that the city, far from being hopelessly divided, is in fact hopelessly interconnected. It misses the degree to which New Media has democratized the political conversation while accentuating Washington's insular, myopic, and self loving tendencies. It misses, most of all, a full examination of how Washington may not serve the country well but has, in fact, worked splendidly for Washington itself– A city of beautifully busy people constantly writing the story of their own lives.” Mark Leibovich, This Town, Penguin Books, 2013, p. 10.

Wow. You can copy and paste. Now copy and paste something relevant . The GOP has a 90% success rate in generating recessions. Even Faux Business News says Dems are better for the economy. You must have been living in a box the last thirty years.

Hypocrite. You could be sucking off public welfare while pretending to be a real man.

Odd, you're the one arguing for it.
    It's OK, embrace it.

LOL! You just don't get it. The "GOP" stinks on ice. Ditto its DP partners.

Try to resist using ad hominem personal attacks against forum members, it tempts the moderators to interfere.

After he publicly advocated taxes to pay for health care insurance, instead of offering to pay out of pocket premiums, so that everyone can pay the same price.
The pukes just want everything subsidized

It’s simple but you seem to be oblivious to a few simple facts concerning payroll tax.
Payroll tax for SS and Medicare IS a set amount after $106k. So, anyone at this amount pays the same as anyone who makes millions. The reason why it’s on a percentage basis below, is that the median ( 57k median) and working poor below 106k, can’t afford to pay Healthcare or social security. If it were a set amount from 0 to millions of dollars income, NO ONE BELOW median income could afford healthcare. That’s proven by the previous insurance policies offered by private insurance companies at set premium levels before Obamacare. 30k people died each year for lack of health insurance as they could not afford it or had preexisting conditions which made premiums so high they could not afford it either. If you’re unhappy with 30 k people having insurance more affordable so they don’t die, tough.

Anyone who disses single payer healthcare for everyone else while enjoying it themselves, is a hypocrite. That’s not ad hominem, that’s factual and applies to everyone in that situation.

Yet they can afford to make sure Disney, Hollywood, Apple and the NBA make obscene amounts of money selling luxuries.
    Funny how that works

What's wrong with everybody buying one of these terrific, cost efficient, high quality, government insurance products?
Too cheap? Rather have your neighbor pay for you?

    And your point is ?
Btw. “An interesting fact is my grandson was born in the hospital alleged to be the birthplace of Obama”

How can something be a fact and still be “ alleged “.

It’s called, Medicare for all. Just dropping the age from 65 to birth sounds like it will continue to exist.
Are you enrolled in Medicare or plan to ?

Will a 30 year old getting subsidized through a tax based system be? I would buy my own policy. I'm not a leach

If you had a preexisting condition, you may not be able to buy anything depending upon your governor. You die or become a leach and apply for Medicaid. You're obviously not thirty, or you’re on a forum on company time. Are you enrolled in Medicare ?

Are you serious ? Other nations aren’t in debt 100 trillion dollars. Do you have any concept of economics ? Doesn’t sound like it.
