Understand.Off topic is fairly innocuous. (Most of the time.)

Another far right member added to the endless roster of far right types here.

    Well, that's ok - you're welcomed here anyway ;)

There's nothing I could have done anyway... ;-)

In our poor neighborhood, kids were eating peanut butter sandwiches in my days - the well-off ones had a banana in it. Welcome on board, Frank. Hope I'll see you there.

I am a member on three other forums. I've never put anyone on an "ignore" list before coming here.

So far, in the few days I've been here, I'm up to four members. I've found nothing worthwhile in their posts and usually their posts are disrectful, dishonest, or just inane.

I'm not going to give up time-I'll-never-get-back.

It always depends on your political leanings as to who you want to read. Mean comments are just that no matter what side.

Oh, gee, and I thought there were more left leaners on this forum. Imagine that.

I don't want to read hate-filled personal attacks.

People are wrong all of the time; I'm wrong a lot of times. I'm certainly not going to ignore someone just because I disagree with them.

In order for me to add them to my list, their postings must display all four characteristics that I listed. (Not necessarily all in one post, although I've seen that.)

Bologna eating libertarian, veteran ? What do you have to offer ? Some bs about limited government, or the constitution ?

Ok, make some posts, let's see what you got.

    Hi!

No, I haven't touched on those subjects yet. So far, most of my posts have been me railing against leftist (not meaning liberal) hypocrisy.

Here's one of my favorite posts:

    You are so right!

I'm having a tough time posting replies. I delete more than I post. The deleted ones always go something like: " I can't believe you are that stupid".

I hope they are just having fun making silly troll posts. The alternative is just too scary.

Welcome to PF! My father was an engineer for the Air Force during the Korean War and ended up repairing everything from airplanes to pinball machines. Nice to have you here!

I actually cleared my ignore list after we rebooted, then went back up to four. All four cases had the same thing in common: They always repeated the same talking points like parrots, they never responded to anyone else (not just me but anyone) and they never expounded on their opinions, mostly just a sentence or two. All of them could be bots. I haven't missed them at all. I suspect they're probably the same four you have.

The red one tastes a lot like Cherry Nut Cake, in my defense.

    I don't think that I'm all that "Well-Known" yet.
