After the election yesterday I thought it would be appropriate to have a thread on Fake News. In order to qualify as fake news people need to provide evidence.

OK major Fake news concerning yesterdays local elections in Scotland. It is clear that the BBC and other media are on a massive propaganda war trying to present the Tories as outpacing the SNP. In particular given that they, the Tories were apparently able to get a seat at the apparently most deprived area of Scotland, Ferguslie Park.

Craig Murray is the person I have found who has given the best reply to this distortion of the truth.

Clear evidence of how our media twist facts to produce the result they want hoping that this will justify the denial of a further Indyref.

    and here you have it

when the truth of the matter is

Labour which the media describes as a 'spent force' in Scotland got only 14 less seats than the Tories.

Craig Murray believes the Tories probably got 23% of the vote give or take 1.5%.

Going by their argument that the reason people were voting Tory was because they did not want another Independence vote with only 23% of the people of Scotland voting for that rather suggests a massive Yes from the people of Scotland for another Independence vote. ;)

It wasn't so long ago that they had more Pandas than Tory MPs in Scotland. I just hope that after the General Election this fact is still true.
