First off, it was not "the Trump coup". That's just the left taking a mob riot and turning it into a political opportunity. If they can get enough people to buy that narrative then any jury trying a case arising from the 1/6 riot will look at it through that lens. This ploy borders jury tampering.

Secondly no one here is excusing the 1/6 riot. We just expect proper justice to be meted out. That includes holding those responsible for allowing it to happen accountable. Like Pelosi.

 

Both. The protestors away from the capitol and those at the capitol didn't think the 2020 election was free and fair, so in the eyes of the protestors, both were engaging in democratic behavior.

It was the Capital Hill leadership that let these officers down and put them in a situation where it had been made abundantly clear to them they could be over powered and needed back up. It was Capital Hill leadership that refused that additional help. It wasn't the Republicans. So why did the families snub them instead of Pelosi and Schumer?
