Vladolf Putler created this mess....he basically got his bluffed called by making all these outrageous demands.

Now the Kremlin rodent is in a corner and he needs to do something now. Playing a weak hand.

100k troops??....that won't do $hit....he needs 5-600k for any success since half of those will be outright killed, and that will be the end of Putinkas junta regime.

Oh, and here I thought it Nuland who kicked out the elected president and installed the Junta. So it was the Russians that did it - and they killed 10 million? Wow! Thanks for that bit.

Oh, and here I thought it was only the former Polish lands that wanted to be with Europe. Thanks again for letting us know.

Look, if the MSM is telling you all these things, then it must be true of course. I mean they wouldn't lie. Anyway, I have to thank Australia for the delicious grass fed lamb - and the cost was great too.

    Did they not? December 2018

Speaking at a Ukrainian military event, President Petro Poroshenko said Russia has deployed "more than 80,000 troops, 1,400 artillery and multiple rocket launch systems, 900 tanks, 2,300 armoured combat vehicles, 500 aircraft and 300 helicopters" along their common border.

You do remember that Trump defended Putin's invasion of Crimea (after he figured out it had happened . . . which he didn't know initially) and actively tried to remove the penalties placed against them for doing so . . . right? The idea that Trump was somehow "strong" against Russia is probably the dumbest bull **** ever peddled on the forums. No one is actually lobotomized enough to believe it.

After Biden's Afghanistan debacle, if I were an American in Ukraine, I'd be running to get out as fast as my legs would carry me.

If Joe has a plan to protect American personnel at all, it's a bad plan. Count on it.

Biden really should have tried to do something about Trump's Taliban surrender agreement before carrying it out, but Trump made no such surrender agreement with Ukraine (though, given the fact that he had already defended Russia for invading Ukraine and opposed sanctions for doing so, he definitely would have). At least Trump didn't release thousands of Russian soldiers to fight against us and our allies the way he did in Afghanistan.

Why do you guys always run away like this when confronted by facts? I mean, we all know why, but how can you do so with a straight face? Would it really cause you physical pain to actually address what I said?

Poroshenko also said after the Ukrainian armies humiliating defeat at Debaltshevo by the Donbas' rag tag militia in which 3,000 men died, (mostly by friendly fire since they had only 2 weeks training), that the Russian army was there and they even used nuclear arms.

When Poroshenko realized how ridiculous he sounded, he retracted it.

Biden said that Americans should leave with commercial airlines, because they have no plans to take them out with military ones. I assume they're expecting an insurgency and civil war of some kind.

First of all there was no invasion of Crimea - other than by the Ukrainians in 1995. After Washington helped the nationalists overthrow the legitimately elected Pres. Yanukovich with a coup in 2014 and Nuland installed a fascist government, the Crimean people declared their independence once again from Ukraine.

The Crimeans asked the Russian troops stationed in Crimea to protect them while they held a referendum. The people voted overwhelmingly in a referendum to join Russia as protection from another Ukrainian invasion.

Second: Obama was president at the time of the coup and when Crimea joined Russia; not Trump. Also Russia was not an enemy at the time. The Democrats made Russia an enemy for their own self serving interests and to keep Trump from allowing American oil companies to benefit from business dealings with Russia.

Relations with Russia would have been economically profitable for our country, but not for the neo liberal cons and war mongers who are invested in the military industrial complex - so to keep it from happening, the Democrats came up with the fraudulent dossier and the Russiagate lies and impeachments.

Back to the topic. None of the European nations are advising their people to leave Ukraine since they have no intelligence saying that there's a need for them to do so.

Also at the Russian security council, Ukraine wasn't even mentioned. So why all the anti Russia hysteria? This is from Russia's foreign minister Sergei Lavrov and it's exactly what I fear.

Lavrov: Anti-Russian Hysteria In West Is Intended To Justify Ukrainian Military Actions In Donbass!

Jeanette there is no link of yours I would ever click. I recommend everyone do the same. Give it a year or
two and no Russian will be able to freely click any Internet link without Putin's approval. What is Putin afraid
of? It certainly isn't you. But politicalforum.com will be as freely available as it is in China.

    Exactly!

Biden's administration has already told American civilians in Ukraine they are on their own [just like Americans in Afghanistan.]

I smell smokescreen. A brand spankin new war or even an imminent one would take over the news propaganda till the mid-term. The Democrats problem is whether people see it on the news or not, they feel the bad economy and Bidenflation every time they open their wallets to buy anything.

I understand that the term 'brainwashig' derrived from the experience of American POW's
    in North Korea.
A crucial part of 'brain washing' in that country and many others isn't so much to 'wash' the
brain but to control the information in the first place. Hence the 'firewall' in China and North
Korea today. Putin has to do this too if his regime is going to survive because Russians can
still access information about how Westerners live. Beyond a few large cities in Russia there's
nothing but mud and poverty - Russians get to see on their TV's how in the West their entire
nations are clean, modern and beautiful Once Putin has fully restricted media access the
    brain washing' will begin.

Friends of mine went to Russia in the late '70's or early '80's. Recall this story that they were
on a bus wih a tour guide. When local Russians wanted to feel the texture of their garments
the guide told the locals this was how the 'bourgeois' lived. No, the Australians said, we are
working class people! The guide said something to the effect that all 'bourgeois' say the same
    thing.
    That's brainwashing.

Yeah, Hollywood doesn't make movies of Appalachia and the back roads of cities and rural areas in the US - especially when the snow starts melting. They'll always have mud, I know I lived in the northeast.

Regardless, Russia has a population problem, and you can't build when you don't have people. That's thanks to Germany's Barbarossa and even more so to Washington's Harvard boys. They were the ones who were supposed to help them adjust to a free economy, and instead they empowered criminal oligarchs who were sending their money to offshore accounts to avoid taxes. In the meantime the Russians were going hungry - and when you don't have food to eat, you do not have children.

When Putin became president, he told the oligarchs they could hold on to their ill gotten wealth if they paid their taxes and didn't go into politics. Most left and were embraced by their cohorts in Washington and London. It's these tax evaders who have been demonizing Vladimir Putin with the hope of going back and taking over the country again.

It doesn't matter though, Putin paid off all of the IMF debts that were imposed on them during the American Yeltsin years, and the income of the Russian people has grown immensely. Also the sanctions were a blessing, since Putin used them as an excuse to stop importing from the EU so that they could develop their own agriculture and industries.

Because of this, Russia is now self-sufficient in almost everything and a world in itself.

Yes, its fascinating when Putin and his brain washed subjects blame the West for the failure
of Russia to adjust to how most prosperous nations live. It was never going to happen in a
nation like Russia - those people just want 'stability' and 'strong government.' Incredible to
think Russia is more backward in its mentality than what British people were before the barons
made the king of England sign the Magna Carta. No wonder half the Russian kids just want to leave.
