This is excellent news. I would hope that this drug could be further tested. But I think the reality is that we need this on the market ASAP.

^^^ This is the level of thought, honesty, and propaganda from Leftists. No one ever said any of those things, but they act like someone did. It's pathetic.

Bullcrap it ain't never gonna work. Trump must own the company. We need to test it 100,000 times before it is put out to the public. The government is trying to poison us. Someone gave it to their parakeet and it died. Blah, Blah, Blah.

Did you want him not to? Did you want him to send no Federal aide to the states? What kind of moronic question is this?

That's because he is pointing out the pivoting thought process of Pro Trump but anti lockdown individuals who can't seem to shore up the competing ideas that Trump is great, lockdowns are bad, yet Trump initiated the lockdown. Or it was the Governers...or something.

It's just very difficult to keep up with the changing positions, that's all.

Actually, we'll be very clear. At first, the President didn't want to initiate the National Emergency(while some conservatives have speculated that it's because he doesn't want to promote the overreach of the Federal Government. It is my personal suspicion that he knew it would actually be the governors who would act. Since the National Emergency really didn't do anything for the government. Habeus Corpus is still for example in effect.)

Since it provided no incentive for the federal government, or(as studies have recently shown) no effect whatsoever on the situation on the grounds, the President wasn't compelled at all to act. What changed? The persistence and the media insistance. For Trump, he felt the need to not let this incident affect his political chances.

Yes, Democrats are right to note this is about his political chances. What Democrats neglect to mention is that their OWN actions are about the same. As though Trump is prohibited from taking actions or saying things to affect his chances, but they have no such limitations. ROFL.

The current situation here in America(since I know you're an awesome Canadian.) is that these Governors(mostly Democratic), want to have it both ways. They want the power decreed to them through the National Emergency, but at the same time they want NONE of the responsibility. When people began to rise for their civil rights and liberties, governors didn't want to take the obvious fallout that's going to occur.

In 2022, when this is all over, a lot of governor seats are going to be in play. Including ones that would've been safe, if not for draconian responses to the coronavirus(Whitmer, I'm looking at you.)

It's basically a tug of war on who looks "more manly" or more effective. You could in reality say none of the above, but no one reasonable in America is going to do that.(I will.) Instead, it'll likely to be who to blame more. That's what this is all about.

And while the governors and the DNC would like to dance around and skirt around it. It was the Media who to this day clamors for the Defense Authorization Act as though it's some kind of magic pill to defeat the coronavirus(it isn't.). The reality is: They're the ones who asked for it, they're the ones who got it, and they're the ones mismanaging their own States and their government responses.

Without a center of a doubt in my mind, even if Trump weren't running for President. Let's say this would happen in the 2018 midterms and the actions were all the same. These governors failed to govern, they failed to defend 'American Democracy' that we supposedly uphold as our model of government and thus ran between their legs from the coronavirus.

The one defending democracy is not America, but freaking Sweden. It's not anyone's fault but theirs, that to this day they want to "share" responsibility I guess with Trump(even though they'll never use the word share, that implies they own it.)

No. You don't seem to even know how it works. The "lock downs" are not done at the Federal Level. That is a state level, county level, city level decision. Again, you Leftists just know so much that just isn't true.

Turns out that lie the Leftist push appears to be a homicide with the local police investigating the woman. The lies told by the Left are never ending.

You're being beyond disingenuous. It may work, but the studies are nowhere near complete. The FDA just said that it should not, and can not be used outside of a Hospital, or in a Clinical Trial. This is because some of the side effects are deadly. Therefore, you must be in a hospital to take it.

Let be honest and admit that this is exactly why Trump is pushing everything to the states. This is nothing but politics. Trump wanted to do everything, took a bunch of credit "our response was perfect", "were doing everything"......then when they saw the poll numbers they said "the states must do it all". All the while they are withholding money from states who aren't doing what they want them to do, they are threatening other states with retributions. This was politics pure and simple. This IS a federal issue, and not a states issue. This is what the founding fathers designed the federal government for, National Defense. If this isnt the defense of the nation, then nothing is.

Having 50 different governors, define 50 different plans, all while having common borders is a recipe for disaster. But Team Trump understand that after they saw their poll numbers sinking. Make no mistake, the move to push everything to the governors is a very bad idea, but it is nothing but politics for team Trump. You can claim the "democratic governors" all you want, but this is politics pure and simple at the federal level. all due respect AN, this is the POTUS and his team saving their political buts only AFTER they saw the polling.

Team Trump IS having their cake and eating it too. They are the ones threatening governors for not opening their states for...THE ECONOMY, all the while saying publicly that "its the governors decision". Then when the virus comes back in 6 months, they can blame the governors.

Team Trump wants everyone to watch the hand that says "Its the governors decisions", while with the other hand they are quietly forcing governors to do what they want them to do with the power of the purse.

Talk about having your cake and eating it too. Hell, Trumps gunna gain another 500 lbs on this cake.

The side effects are ONLY deadly if you go with the massive dose approach as displayed in the VA study. The normal dose patients had ZERO lethal side effects. Again, you guys are being fed all kinds of crap propaganda and don't even know it. You all have to break out of your CNN, DailyKos, NY Times propaganda machine sources.

LOL. So the governor power grab, the public media assertion by these governors is now a Trump PLOY? You think you're redirecting it back, but actually you're confirming for anyone reading: It's the Democratic governors/DNC who want to have it both ways. You wanna blame Trump for the crisis, but if something happens to invert the crisis, you wanna be the first ones who said you did it.

No, they have the power. They're right. They assert responsibility. And yes, that means responsibility for any failures. No, Trump doesn't care about 2022 because frankly, if he doesn't win re-election then he's not a factor any more. And I'm sure he'd want to work with less Cuomo ding bats, but that's not his main focus right now.

I highlight 2022, because that's going to be a PEOPLE's movement. Even if it stays to that 20% level, 20% is big enough to be a swing. The moment someone runs against Whitmer and goes "We'll have a pragmatic, sound approach that doesn't ban sunflower seeds." She's in ****, and so is the entire governorship of every governor during this crisis.

These governors, had an opportunity to defend the American Republic. They failed. Some of them toed the middle line nicely and those governors will escape the swing heat. But everyone else had an opportunity to defend the Republic, and they couldn't do it. They couldn't defend the Republic.

These mid-terms are going to be exciting for that reason. Which incumbent can defend their decisions and even portray that they will do better in defending their State in the Republic? It's not a red or a blue wave. It's a purple wave. Whoever's strongest on civil liberties will be winning governor seats across the nation.
