    The principles of freedom do not. You are under the illusion that government only does good. The reality is that we have 536 heavily influenced by another minority of special interest that could careless about your freedom or prosperity.

    This is why the federal government should not have power over the individual. There should be a simple taxcode. Welfare and personal issues should remain with the individual and community.

    You cannot have big government without massive corruption.

    Great, yea, so instead of one socio-economic mess (social security) we would have 6 of them.

    You can't give someone a right to someone else's goods or services, without destroying the *natural* right to property and life. This would be a revocation of rights, not a nourishment. Property and life are the two most fundamental rights. I'd even argue if you think that you have more rights than to your past (property), present (body), and future (mind) then you are simply a delusional unintelligible slave of other's power.

    The government cannot make more rational decisions than the market on any of these issues. If you believe medicare is expensive, you should go into the private care and discover/innovate ways to make it cheaper. Making someone else pay for it not only doesn't solve the core issue, it hides the issue completely from anyone ever resolving it. Big government central planners should be implementing their ideas in the private sector, not the government.

    Montoya, if you love me, you'll agree with me that our Dear Leader Obama has done more than any other president to concentrate power into a few hands by acting outside the authorization of congress, forming corrupt liasons between government and the richest Wall Street executives, and using executive orders in lieu of congressional legislation.     Yes, they can only get their power from government. It is the duty of government to limit their power, yet it only serves them.

    Enforced anti-trust laws and a simple taxcode will do more to curb the top 1% than a massive corrupt taxcode. A normal free market would not have allowed the housing bubble. The free market naturally attempted to purge the toxic market forces, but were further saved by improper government.

    The too big to fails, only exist due to big corrupt government. Our taxcode is the paper trail of a corrupt system.

    Why are you so angry that some people have a lot more money than you do?
    I have no desire to direct my life towards the accumulation of money. But some do. Just like some have no desires past getting a pack of smokes and 40 ounce bottle of malt liquor everyday. Let people get out of life what they put into it. And stop blaming the rich for you unhappiness. It's counterproductive, dude.

    You don’t even believe this. And I’ll prove it. If the government decided tomorrow to interpret the First Amendment differently to officially declare America a Christian nation, I get the feeling you’d probably insist it was a static document then.

    “Living document” doesn’t mean allowing room to change with the times. It means changing the Constitution to fit your personal agenda. Because it’s not so “living” once someone wants to take it in a direction that you don’t like.

    A little self honesty can help you see much more of the bigger picture.

    Liberty and property are almost the exact same thing. One (or someone) has to work (give up their liberty) in exchange for property. Capitalism is the only system that allows, almost REQUIRES private property.

    According to the Declaration of Independence "it is the right of the people to alter or to abolish" (government) when it infringes on liberty. Liberty is the ability to own private property among other things.

    Amendment V, US Constitution in part. (bold for emphasis)


    No person shall be... deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation.

    Amendment V is all about the rights of the accused. "Due process" in this case means after a trial, or legal proceeding usually AFTER a crime (accept in the cases of government taking property for public use). Owning property IS NOT a crime as it is in a strictly socialist or communist economic system and country. More on that later... :roll: Amendment V even FORCES (favored Democrat word) the government to PAY people for their property taken for public use!

    Section 1.

    ... No state shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any state deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.​

    Ah there is yet another guarantee of the ownership of "property."

    As you can see, throughout our founding documents there are guarantees for BOTH Liberty, AND Property! Neither exist in a socialist or communist economic system.

    As you can clearly see, there is not a practical dime's worth of difference between the two economic systems, save the degree to which they are FORCED on the people. Neither economic system really allows or safeguards PRIVATE PROPERTY.

    The Supreme Court must "explain or tell the meaning of" the Constitution, not make up meaning. The Constitution means what it did when ratified. :omfg: Any ruling to the contrary is a violation of a Justice's oath-of-office, and a federal crime for which they may impeached. :shock:

    I never liked the name of "Second Bill of Rights" as Rights are God Given, not manmade. Democrats reject God, as they think THEY have the POWER only reserved for God. Democrats therefore believe God is inferior to THEM. Everything on FDR's list is a privilege as true Rights are free, and not manmade.

    We have almost destroyed our country economically with FDR's Economic "right" ( :puke: ) #5 "The right of every family to a decent home."

    We will soon do more damage by instituting FDR's Economic "right" ( :puke: ) #6 "The right to adequate medical care and the opportunity to achieve and enjoy good health" with the implementation of Obamacare.

    We have FORCED our young people into a Ponzi scheme for which there is no escape by enacting FDR's Economic "right" ( :puke: ) #7 "The right to adequate protection from the economic fears of old age, sickness, accident, and unemployment." The young will never benefit from Social Security, yet they pay, and pay, and pay!

    Of course the price of college is SO astronomically high because of FDR's Economic "right" #8, "The right to a good education." The Democrats just finance and guarantee any loan to cover ANY price of college the schools feel like charging, warping the free market in education just like The Democrat creations of Freddie and Fannie were constructed to warp the free housing market; all in violation of the Constitution I might add.

    "Fascism" is a Leftist political philosophy very close to Socialism, and Communism. It is not a political philosophy of the Right at all. Constitutional Conservatives are far to the Right of Fascism.

    "Fascism" is a Statist philosophy very much along the lines of Communism and Socialism as the power is vested in the STATE, and destroys individuals and individual liberty.

    Constitutional Conservatives, i.e. Tea Party members are in favor of the Constitution and therefore individual Liberty. Fascism is to the "Right" of Socialism and Communism, but not by much at all. Constitutional Conservatives are FAR to the RIGHT of such Statist philosophies (across the entire ocean to the Right :roll: ). You can't believe in individual Liberty and a big unlimited government. Obviously Democrats are more closely aligned politically to Statist philosophies like Socialism, Communism, and Fascism than Constitutional Conservatives.
