I would like to nominate this post for February's post of the month. I hope to see more posts/threads like this dedicated to critiques of capitalism.

Wall St. rallies for third session, led by energy shares
17 Feb.`16 - U.S. stocks tallied their third straight session of gains on Wednesday, led by energy shares as oil prices jumped, while better-than-expected economic data helped allay growth fears. Nine of the 10 major S&P sectors closed higher, with energy rising 2.9 percent.

It happens on both types of searches, keyword & title.

Sane Centrist makes a compelling case for reality. His rebuttal to the OP notes specifically that poor stereotypes were being invoked erroneously and he or she dispels illogical comparisons and nonexistent associations.

    I'm just curious.......

Now lets dig into this spider web of a rant that you wrote that makes as much sense as a Cadillac with a 4 cylinder engine stuffed in it.

First things first, placing round pegs into square blocks.

The kids who's heads were chopped off were behaving like typical teenagers you'd find anywhere in the world doing the things today's teenagers do, which by the way only backs up what I've been saying for years about how the current generation of young Muslims are more Westernized than ever.

Also if there was such a problem with them listening to records or skipping Friday prayers how come mom & dad didn't cut there heads off, or stop them from doing those things? I mean........according to you, isn't that what their parents should have done, being that their (Satanic Guide Book for Life) otherwise known as the Quran "allegedly" instructs them to do?

Here's where the rubber is going to hit the road, and it's going to get ugly so please brace yourself Mr. Expert on all things Islam.

This insidious LIE that has been spread all over the world by now that all Muslims must obey each & every word written in the Quran has more or less been proven out again by this horrible act that was committed - to be wrong.

You see, by all accounts, if everything you, and all the other "Internet Islam Experts" said about Muslims or Islam was correct - then these boys would be chasing goats around in their incest-ridden, morally depraved, filthy village where all the men do nothing but rape women all day long (because their Quran tells them to do it) while spending the rest of their time teaching kids how to wage war on everybody on the planet that isn't of Arabic decent. (because their Quran tells them to do that as well)

Yet they weren't, just like the millions of other Muslims that don't. (Houston we have a problem)

You seem to be COMPLETELY un-phased or ignorant to the fact that there are millions, upon millions, upon millions of Muslims that fit the same, identical, description as these young boys that were beheaded. Yet there are no "Quran police" running around making sure that heads are being chopped off everyday.

    <<< MODERATOR EDIT: FLAMEBAIT >>>

How in the holly hell....can there be such a disparity between almost 2 billion people on this planet?
(if what you, and all the other internet Islam experts say was true)

How is it possible that there are Muslims of every age & gender all over the world: listening to records, dancing, dating, getting high, getting degrees in science, medicine, engineering, law, serving in their host countries military, becoming actors, singers, models, and everything else under the sun....................if their f*cking bible forbids such things?

How are they "ALL" following their (Satanic Guide Book for Life) while they're also living westernized lives.....AT THE SAME TIME?

    Wait, don't answer, I know, I know..........................THEY'RE ALL BAD MUSLIMS!!! :roll::roll:

Here's the problem with that little gem of a lie that also gets thrown around like unwanted Christmas presents - all of these people that I'm talking about (that are practicing Muslims) all strive to be good Muslims that follow their faith & God's rule of law everyday - yet they do not wear black military outfits carrying black & white ISIS flags, while riding around in the backs of Toyota trucks all over the Middle East killing every human being they come in contact with.

<<< MODERATOR EDIT: OFF TOPIC >>>

These two dynamics cannot & do not live together because they are infinitely tied to two separate streams of consciousness, thought, and physical properties.

A true Muslim, could never in a million f*cking years do the things that the people connected to terrorist groups do.

I'm not going to post any videos or links to support any of this because every time I do, most of you completely ignore them. But if you'd like verification or proof of anything I'm saying including proof that would completely dismantle all that nonsense you spewed in your post I'd be more than happy to share it with you.

    1. Muslims that do not partake in terrorism are not bad Muslims not following the Quran or the true tenets of Islam.

    2. People that kill in the name of Islam are not true Muslims regardless of what they profess to be.

    3. The religion of Islam currently has a cancer within it - that infected itself upon Islam with no help or assistance from true Muslims.

    4. Clerics, Imam's, Sheiks, Mufti's, and millions of followers have been working on eradicating this cancer for years.

I would like to nominate this as post of the month. Darkbane and I don't agree on much but he quite commonly takes the time to write a very thorough post that's enjoyable to read and informative. He is also as you can see below trying to set a record for post scripts.

The post is here and it's edge-of-your-seat-white-knuckle stuff: discussing the controversial and riveting subject of car batteries.

So you should award him the trophy because I said it's the best post and that should be enough. If you are running short of trophies you can take one from Doombug. He has a few extra ;)

A poster asked the question "if we all do it, why is racism wrong?" and another member named Lucifer offered this post in response.

The post is on-topic, clear, humorous, and effective. It made me smile, made me think and reminded me that there was a mechanism on PF for acknowledging a really great post. (link)

Personally I want to publically thank you for creating both this nomination thread for "member posts" as well as the nomination thread for "member threads" even though didn't I became unware of them in time to make nominations in either category. Not that there aren't posts and threads out there worthy of nomination but instead in has to be in the back of my mind from the beginning because I'm not good at going back to the past.

In any case there were a couple of really good posts nominated for February and I posted a "like" on them in their original thread.

Keep it up for March and I'll keep my eyes open for really good threads and posts that I can nominate this month.
