I am kinda shocked that he is only sentenced to 30 days. I mean, he literally attacked Sen. Paul from behind and caused serious bodily harm. Whether Paul is a Senator or not, Boucher should be serving more than a measly month in county jail.

You have that, and you also have so many people in prison for non-violent drug offenses that cost becomes a factor in sentencing. End the anti-liberty war on drugs and let non-violent drug offenders out and individuals like the one who attacked Sen. Paul will end up doing lengthy prison sentences, as they should.

I would suggest that, next time, Rand Paul hire someone else to do his yard work.

That, or get a better security detail.

The sentence doesn't seem that out of line.

Yeah? Well thanks to the perp Paul will probably have to now. It probably hurts too much to do yard work thanks to the injuries he sustained from the attack.

The average sentence is 21 to 27 months, and you think one month sounds ok?

A man should be able to work in his yard without having to "hire someone else" or "get a better security detail" because he might be attacked by a lunatic neighbor.

What is wrong with some people. SMH.
