    So what have we learned.

    Everybody around the World massacred.

    Humanity sucks that way.

You can't get all racist and try to make other groups look barbaric without lots of examples of your own group's inhumanity tossed in your face.

    And so it goes.

But I thought the natives in the Americas lived in peace, harmony, and paradise before the "white man" arrived.

Translation: I don't want to answer the question because then I'd look silly.

    No worries.

You are free to assume anything you like but you're wrong if you think I'm an apologist for the ****ing Russians then or now. Are you an apologist for the Russians now? Do you think Putin is murderous thug? No need to answer that question either.

Probably the majority of the society was implicated in this evil to some extent or another. Your leaders don't just go about openly sacrificing hoards of human beings and ripping out their bare hearts without something being very wrong with the society. This was also religious-based, don't forget. There were probably a huge number of people who believed in what they were doing and condoned it.

It wasn't a total genocide of everyone. Mexico today is still brown. The natives contributed more to the modern-day genepool than the Spanish invaders.

More to the point, regardless of how I'd look, were I to answer a question that's clearly based on an intellectually and morally bankrupt premise, I'd be silly.
    Got that right. 8)
Yeah, well I have only your word for that, and experience indicates that's not worth a lot.
If you think you can build a case for the affirmative, knock yerself out.
To be sure, there's no need to answer any question, seeing this is a message board post and not a job application.

Sacrificing people for religion may be considered barbaric, yet, then, what is sacrificing them for ideology or oil ?
