I have seen this gambit used by some in feminism. They claim that they speak for women; and they claim that anyone who disagrees with them is an enemy of women, or a misogynist.

This is the same gambit that Stalin used. He claimed to be the voice of the people, so anyone who disagreed with him was the enemy of the people. Millions of people died from being accused of being the enemy of the people.

I, for one, am not a misogynist - or an enemy of women - at all. I am happy when women do well, in the same was as I am happy when someone from any other discriminated against groups do well. But I have been accused of being a misogynist because I do not agree with all aspects of political correctness. This is crying wolf. And a person who cries wolf makes herself - and others - not credible when a real wolf appears.

It so happens that I have had dealings with real misogynists. They called me a male feminist and a pussywhipped idiot. Some people need a sense of perspective. The above men, who see women in their communities, who are for the most part in-good-faith people, as "b*tches," need to be exposed more to American feminists; and American feminists need to be exposed more to such men. That way they may cease crying wolf and deal with actual wolves, of whom I assure you there are plenty on both sides.

So I refuse the label of the misogynists, and I refuse the label of the pussywhipped idiot. I am someone who seeks to make sense of a very ugly and very bruising conflict. I have no ill will toward either party. I want them to change their behavior. And that means, first of all, getting a sense of perspective and realizing what misogynists and "b*tches" actually are and who is not.

Don't take it too hard. If you project a dissenting opinion, its 'hateful' in the eyes of the crybullies who have taken over the political narrative. Folks can't agree to disagree or even agree to generally agree. Its all or nothing in emotional politics.
