But there are 5 calls every day, so you must have heard some of them between the traffic and aeroplanes? And anyway, 'noise' is subjective - what might be 'background noise' to you might be a grossly unwanted intrusion into the lives of others? I quite realise you're trying to ameliorate what I said, but that is a fact don't you agree?

That there have been a few million of them arriving since then up to the present day?? So even in just the 5 years you've been away I daresay you'd find a difference.[/quote]

Yes, much like the Caribbean community which drove my in-laws from the house they've always lived in, which I mentioned on another thread yesterday. But I'm sure you'll have made some tenuous excuse to justify their anti-social conduct too.

You mean it wasn't? And it could be argued that in your comings and goings during residency, you were lucky not to have had any awkward confrontations, especially latterly.

I still find it highly orwellian that words are criminal. But that's just like my opinion. :p

    Pretty strange...
When Muslims say something bad against Non Muslims nobody charges them with "hate speech"... :hmm:
