That's what I get for searching while sleepy. My apologies. Same architect, so I went with the first article. The picture represents the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Beijing. The Mandarin Oriental Hotel was a concrete framed building. Note the pillars.
they actually had a real fire there unlike the wtc that by comparison had no fire it was not "encased" in concrete and that was not the design and no steel pancaked down despite the fact it actually had a real fire Im thinking the chinese have miracle steel!
So you are basing your claims on what should and shouldn't have happened on previous structure's performances that were not the same design nor had the same things happen to them? That's like saying you know exactly what damage and occupant injuries would occur to a Dodge Ram Big Horn model truck smashing into a concrete wall at 60 mph by looking at the results of a Chrysler PT Cruiser slamming into the same wall at 60 mph. Apples to Apples for comparison. What did those buildings you presented have in common with WTC, WTC1, and WTC2 that gives you right to compare them? Are are you one of those people who thinks that the only characteristic you need for comparison is that they had fires and are buildings?
yep I can tell you what fire or explosives would do to both those cars yes steel is steel apples to apples, it did not collapse. still waiting for your official damage report for the wtc, I have seen none, thanks in advance
Way to move the goalposts Koko! You were trying to use previous examples of completely different buildings that caught fire as to show that steel buildings don't collapse. Your example building's designs and theire circumstances were COMPLETELY different. Not apples to apples. Nice try though.
so steel in china does not weaken from fire like steel in america? either the steel weakens or it does not. yeh moving the goal posts back china had fire america did not.
Translation: "I won't give the answer "fire" because it kills my claims so I'm going to post silly stuff instead"
translation, I am not the one who tried to defeat newton you did. the wtc had little to no fire and little to no fire weakened the steel and collaped, china had a blazing fire but its steel never collapsed we get it china = miracle steel US = legos
Are you blind? Also, here is n excerpt from a study about the fire. http://www.mace.manchester.ac.uk/pr...Study/HistoricFires/BuildingFires/default.htm So these folks say steel collapsed due to fire and there are pictures of said collapsed steel yet you play on and say you don't see it. Go figure.
we know you do aswell. - - - Updated - - - steel without concrete will collapse. just as it did in Madrid.
nope what steel do you think fell off? Nope I dont see any. - - - Updated - - - nope it did not, if you think it did point it out
You must be re-defining "collapse". That building is still standing in that picture. What are you talking about?
