Yet, the USC methodology did better than the 538 polling averages in 2012. The problem with averages is that a preponderance of Hillary biased polls will give you a Hillary biased average; and I think that's what's going on this year. Yeah, the RCP average mitigates the bias some, but not enough in my opinion.

I think voter fraud is an issue but Trump is up too much to have that be an issue at this point..

I think voter fraud can only keep traditional blue states blue........... But the funny thing is that I think democrats are so comfortable that they will win these blue states that they have them as a lock and that would be a massive mistake in this election.

Many democrats are libertarian leaning and they're supporting Trump, oh and then you have the alienated Sanders supporters that are supporting Trump but otherwise would have voted Hillary had she not stolen the nomination...

The funniest out of all of this is that I think Sanders maybe could have beat Trump - Hillary has no chance.

If it even matters straw polls have Trump at like 70% - yeah I realize in theory people can rig straw polls easily but I don't see many causal Trump supporters trying to rig polls - half aren't even into politics and the other half would find it a waste of time to vote 2,000 times.

I will say this much tho - I trust straw polls over these polls done by polling agencies.

 

Hillary supporters and/or 'never Trumpers' typically get nasty like this when they can't come up is a rational rebuttal.

 

I never said that..... I said 30% are republicans and 30% are democrats - well for loyal party voters and the other 40% is what matters. Also, it's that 40% that are overwhelmingly supporting Trump or NOT Hillary. You can bet that 90% of "independents" are NOT going to vote Hillary.

I have never met or even seen ANYONE supporting Hillary - I have seen plenty of Trump supporters but no one that actually supports Hillary and that matters..

You will find that in the top ten polls that RCP uses the bias is split pretty evenly between R and D.
