    Quite.

The answer I usually get from the Left on questions like this is that "people don't know what's good for them."

Or "They don’t vote in their own best interest."

You won't be surprised to hear that was not directly responded to.

I agree. So what learning materials have been restricted exactly?

I don't see many Californians here, but do see (and always have) all kinds of other license plates, - mid-west, North, Texas, etc . Retirees mostly. The distance to CA might be a factor, and the fact that there are no good paying jobs here.

Well that clinches it. Pro_line_FL's license plate survey is widely considered the definitive report on the nations migratory patterns.

That, and actual data, but you prefer to shoot from the hip and hope you hit something.

Florida is not a big destination for Californians. Arizona is, and Texas is. I suppose staying closer to families and friends still means something,

    BULL'S EYE!

Former Californians turning in their driver's licenses as part of a move to Florida suggest a pickup this year in the number of people moving from the Golden State to the Sunshine State.

The number of Californians getting Florida driver’s licenses in 2019 was 18,103, according to data that the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles shared with me Wednesday. The number of Californians getting Florida licenses dipped slightly in 2020 to 17,524 as the pandemic may have put some moves on hold.

But in the first four months of this year, 8,174 former Californians obtained their Florida driver’s licenses. At that pace, more than 24,000 former Californians would be moving to Florida this year, up sharply from each of the previous two years.

    ...

The latest figures reinforce anecdotal evidence that a growing number of Californians are choosing to live in Florida, where the Miami mayor has put on a full-court press to get Bay Area tech companies and investors to move to his city.

Venture capitalists Keith Rabois and David Blumberg as well as Silicon Valley entrepreneurs are choosing to move to South Florida.

Former PayPal and Intuit CEO Bill Harris recently moved to South Florida, where he’s now hiring up to 200 people for a startup that he leads in Miami.

Of course it will, but you're not able to say what learning materials have been restricted exactly! That's very telling!

No clue why this is important to you, but we have 50 000 coming from Georgia and 28 000 from Texas and 30 000 from Ohio, 34 000 from Pennsylvalina so no, California is not s big contributor even though their population if far bigger than those States.

Interestingly 22 000 people from Florida moved to California in 2019. High paying jobs maybe? Florida has always been a popular retirement community, and boomers are retiring in their millions, but for younger professionals Florida is not as attractive due to lack of good paying jobs. I wish the FL politicians focused on that instead of culture wars.

I told you some of what's restricted. Why can't you figure it out?

Your repeated claims CRT is being taught is what's "batshit insane."

Almost as laughable as your defense of the teacher-bashing laws.

I figured your strategy - deny everything related to CRT, and when you cannot deny, you just claim the issue is an isolated incident that has nothing to do with CRT.

I taught high school history for more than three decades. I know what's being taught in public schools, you don't. Heck, you don't even know enough about CRT to figure out why it isn't being taught.

The real problems with government-run schools are why I favor school vouchers. You guys aren't close to figuring it out.

You miscalculated. My "strategy" is exposing BS.
I keep telling you it isn't part of the curriculum. Individual teachers may introduce biased materials and make inflammatory statements, but that doesn't mean CRT is being examined.
You extreme rightwingers don't understand why and when race education fails in public schools. Many of you are old and don't care about race problems.

Why do people from all over the nation keep moving here? This is just a silly retort in response to your even sillier response. Florida is indeed a political disaster, a moral wasteland filled with white grievance retirees and rednecks mixed in with ex-Cubans who still think their families former holdings in Havana are magically going to return to them. I have no desire to ever visit this state again.

There is an undeniable trend with these cases where teachers add very controversial material. You keep claiming those are isolated incidents, but these incidents somehow keep popping up in different areas.

I probably have another 40, maybe even 50, years to go, not exactly old and have real stakes in the consequences of raising an entire generation that sees race in just about everything. I’d say, being born and raised in another country gives me perspectives that many Americans just do not see. In my view, recent developments with CRT can have wide-reaching consequences that might affect even the long term well being of this country.

Not me. Economies ebb and flow. Culture, once lost, is never coming back. My mission as a conservative is to protect the culture from the Progressive
    barbarians.

Disney, btw, just moved 2000 high paying jobs from CA to FL.

And you do that by spreading fake news? What culture are you fighting to protect in Florida?

Never saw that article before, so I'll have to ask you to provide the post you are referring to. Maybe you don't even realize the poster was not talking to me.

Yeah, maybe it was a different poster. I apologize for the mistake.

But anyway, what do you think of the article?
